    - Union
    - 10 cent per hour raise after every 500 hours
    - extra dollar every Sunday
    - great insurance benefits

    Cons

    -have to be there for At least one year to get benefits
    - hours vary from 24 to 40 hours per week
    - not a set schedule

    Advice to Management

    - more raises!

    Friendly, and extremely understanding of customers

    Ask for too much, customers are ALWAYS right and get everything they want even if wrong

    Pros

    Union Job, Pay raises, Flexible Scheduling, 1-week Paid Vacation time after a year. and then more. Great co Workers.

    Cons

    Slow pay raises, Work holidays, No overtime, No Opportunity to move up. Not Enough Hours in slow months.

    Advice to Management

    Be more understanding of your employees work, don't just assume they aren't working on something, because you caught them stopped thinking what they need to do.

    Pros

    40 hrs, full health and dental

    Cons

    Horrible hours, do more work than the lazy checkers and get paid the same. Deal with stupid customers. Pretty much a baby sitter.

    Advice to Management

    Supervision has no idea what goes on. Promote some of the worst people, lazy people. Store managers are lazy

    Management just cares about getting the job done. If someone calls off then you usually would just pick up the slack

    Pros

    Good hours depending on your location/store.
    Work with your school schedule.

    Cons

    People get credit for things that you do and it gets old.
    Favoritism is a huge problem (not surprising) but still be fair!
    The best work all holidays while others that don't pull in their weight get holidays off for no reason whatsoever.
    Managers tell you do this and that for measly pay.

    Advice to Management

    Stop the favoritism, stop having unrealistic expectations, rotate who works holidays and who closes!

    Pros

    Health benefits after six to one year of working with stater bros market company. you get paid weekly. days go by fast because you are constantly working.

    Cons

    no discount on foods, takes awhile to move up within the store, Not challenging your mind but a good work out. Some people say they have loss weight because of this job. your feet will hurt

    Advice to Management

    be leaders not bosses. get to know your employees better and be more understanding about their school load.
