I worked at Stephen F. Austin University part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

The hours are very flexible and allow you to put your education requirements first. the supervisors are very knowledgeable in their respective fields

    Cons

Only working 20 hours a week maximum at minimum wage is ok for students who need just a little extra spending money. However for those like myself who need to pay bills like rent and and insurance, it is not enough.

I have been working at Stephen F. Austin University part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

You get the holidays off that the university has off, and bosses are usually lenient with time off for studying or other student related things.

    Cons

Usually no room for a pay raise (only some of the departments will give one).
There is no "official" sick or vacation time so it's solely something to work out with your supervisor.
