Pros
As a small start up company, there is always a risk you take in working there. Those risks can pay off big, especially when there are less than thirty people working there. The engineering team was small but top notch and there was a lot of good communication between everyone on that team. Direct managers were good and generally it was a fun place to work. Break room was usually stocked well with drinks and snacks. Hours were flexible as long as the work got done. Management never micromanaged so you never had to worry about someone looking over your shoulder.
Cons
Downsides to working at Stonewall Networks. Again, as a small start up company, there is always a risk you take in working there, and here the risks were too great. Without going into specifics, lets just say you never knew what was going to happen on payday. After a while, you did know. Senior management was not very clear with the employees who where left, but they may actually have believed what they were saying. Really that was the only issue I had there. The product we were working on was great and we had good feedback from trial users, but, it is what it is.
