Pros – Even in economic problems, not many people lose jobs. Lots of security...no one will make a decision to fire you.

Cons – Limited chances if you are not Finnish. New CEO is good and honest, but has a team who learned the old Finnish ways from the old CEO...they can't make decisions or think there is a world outside Finland

Advice to Senior Management – To the CEO: sack a lot of "old-thinking" management. Get some new ideas from inside and outside
To the Senior Management: get an atlas. There is a world outside your own country. Making no decisions, and pretending the market will get good soon will make the future worse. If you'd decided to take Summa actions in 2006 instead of hiding its problems by juggling orders, maybe other mills could have been saved.
