Stryker fired employees recently who were awarded with highly effective employees ratings - JOIN if you want to still

Senior Consultant (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

ProsGood Salary, Free Lunch, Telephone Reimbursement over and above your CTC.

Cons1. You have to be part of certain lobby to get visibility
    2. For IT employees, if you want to remain developer throughout your career, join Stryker
    3. No Long Term Onsite since Stryker India works exactly like contractors to Stryker Global.
    4. Recently they fired 5 people without giving any reasons. The decision was taken because business did not want the specific technology and wanted to go with another one. So from Stryker India, people were fired and currently these people are on 4 months notice and this created panic through out the organization.
    5. High favouritism and Politics.

Advice to Senior Management1. If you have NO WILL to run Stryker India (SGTC), Please DO NOT hire people in India.
    2. Stryker India needs to have its own leadership team and should not be polarized towards certain people only.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Work life balance, poor learning, poor management

Analyst (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

    ProsWork Life Balance
    Relax and Enjoy

ConsProbably you will end up what you know about your work.
Too much reliability on Manager and they really don't deserve it.
Poor HR Department. They really don't know the policies and can't even make you understand one.
Don't go for if you are just looking to enter in a branded company.
    Nothing like Fortune 500 company.
No offshore if you are in IT.
IT is considered as just another department.
Useless objectives to get your own money blocked in Bonus.

Advice to Senior Management360* review should be there.
People to People policies should be stopped.
CEO said he don't know about IT and he doesn't care about it.

Good company, good facilities, okay learning, no work, poor managers (especially cross country)

Business Analyst (Former Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

Pros- Good salary band - depends on negotiation
    - Good perks and facilities
    - Good learning via trainings
    - Good work life balance
    - No complexity in monetary matters
    - Industry standard increments (avg double digits)

Cons- Very less scope of work (Potentially you will forget, what you already know)
    - Some cross country managers are poor managers as they don't understand the cultural difference and the ground reality. They do not have capabilities to get proper work for their subordinates and they expect their subordinates to work. What will they work. Why shall a Software engineer do the work of quant analyst, why a BA does the work of Sales person? Is it some kind of joke?
    - India HR is not transparent and are not qualified/ experienced enough to manage HR roles of a Fortune 500 organization
    - No opportunity of long term overseas assignment
    - Stringent on promotions based on years of experience

Advice to Senior Management- For hybrid model, some training on each geography's culture and work style is required
    - Reanalyze the work within the organization and give the right work to right people. A BA by experience and choice will never like to do sales
    - Improve India HR team's competency please

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Tech Center in India is inundated with favouritism....

Senior Engineer (Current Employee) Gurgaon, Haryana (India)

Pros- Good Work - Life balance..plan your work the way you want as long as your deliverables are on time

ConsManagers play total favouritism...will blindly promote people who only talk and not deliver anything
No respect for skill and experience...make Gallup strengths a joke
Totally insensitive to career path...very very short sighted management
Just keep planning and planning with endless meetings and issues...nobody provides the solution
Create hype by identifying more and more problems
Tech Center has really some out of the world experts in making simplest of the things to most complicated ones
Full of morones...management completely blind and only believes in wothless hierarchy

Advice to Senior ManagementPlease open your eyes......

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
