    Pros

It's a good company. Good pay.you learn so much about the company. I loved it.just to slow.need more hours

    Cons

To much stuff to remember. The pay stays at 16.50.we can't move up

    Advice to Management

I learned so much about warehouse work at subzero.I also got certified on forklift, cherry picker, waver, reach, pallet jack. They show me how to be alert with the scanner, and be more active with scanner.I can pretty much do everything in the warehouse.

    Pros

Steady work at a decent wage.

    Cons

The owner has a lack of consideration for his employees that resulted in a mass lay-off when he wanted to be "more competitive" in the industry at the onset of the country's economic downturn (even though their sales were not effected).

    Advice to Management

More recruitment from within for advanced positions. Expanding labor pay instead of cutting it for strategic economic advantages for the company.

    Pros

I have been employed on site less than a year but am very impressed with the organization. They give you the tools to be successful but you have to use the tools given. They won't do it for you. The job is very rewarding. Great benefits, good pay, and a clean and organized work environment are other good things about the job.

    Cons

There are times when there are technical glitches, software and computer problems. Also there are times when customers ask good questions and if the call gets passed on to another group, there is no way to find the answer.

    Advice to Management

More team building, a chance to ask and get answers to questions that come up that we are not able to find answers for, a chance to go through some training again as a lot of the things you get trained on before starting on the phone don't have any meaning at that point. It would be nice to go and look at some of the product again.

    Pros

I get the opportunity to provide great customer care. The customers are for the most part very fun to talk to and appreciative of the troubleshooting and recommendations. I like how this company is generous with what we can do for our customers. It’s clear that we really do our very best to put the customer first. I have worked other jobs where your hands are tied and you agree with the customer, know that they're right and it’s not fair, but you can't do anything because of how the company is structured and the red tape they set in place. We're not like that and it feels empowering knowing I can help someone who is asking for it.

    Cons

Almost every day there is a technical meltdown. Phones down, database down, and the knowledge base needs some improving. I feel like I need better tools to do my job better. There are inconsistencies with the job procedure/training, seems like everyone was told how to do their job differently and sometimes feels like a lack of cohesion. Many levels of management and sometimes seems to lack structure. Minimal coworker interaction, lack of "team" environment.

    Advice to Management

Create more of a team environment. More group meetings, team building etc would improve overall performance. Also, the phone system and other "tools" for the job can be improved.

    Pros

Have insurance and benefits, but not as good as management.

    Cons

Not a equal employer, lots of blacks and women get treated badly, and nothing is done.

    Advice to Management

Stop thinking about yourselves, and worry more about people doing the work on the floor.

    Pros

Some of the workers who are able to focus on their own work and not work out of entitlement.

    Cons

Poor training, upper management support is a joke, comminication and leaders who stand by their team numm and void. Don't trust HR can not be trusted-

    Advice to Management

Time to get real leaders who know how to groom and grow their teams. Too many boys not enough men or woman. Good ole boy club is going to kill the business

    Pros

Flexible on unpaid time off, when I come to work, and when I leave.

    Cons

Pay Being treated like an intern (I expected more, being an Engineer)

    Advice to Management

Perhaps trim down your department. There are more managers than engineers. No matter where I work there is a manager whose job is to solely watch and write something on his clipboard. Is this necessary?
