    Pros

I have been employed on site less than a year but am very impressed with the organization. They give you the tools to be successful but you have to use the tools given. They won't do it for you. The job is very rewarding. Great benefits, good pay, and a clean and organized work environment are other good things about the job.

    Cons

There are times when there are technical glitches, software and computer problems. Also there are times when customers ask good questions and if the call gets passed on to another group, there is no way to find the answer.

    Advice to Management

More team building, a chance to ask and get answers to questions that come up that we are not able to find answers for, a chance to go through some training again as a lot of the things you get trained on before starting on the phone don't have any meaning at that point. It would be nice to go and look at some of the product again.

    Pros

I get the opportunity to provide great customer care. The customers are for the most part very fun to talk to and appreciative of the troubleshooting and recommendations. I like how this company is generous with what we can do for our customers. It’s clear that we really do our very best to put the customer first. I have worked other jobs where your hands are tied and you agree with the customer, know that they're right and it’s not fair, but you can't do anything because of how the company is structured and the red tape they set in place. We're not like that and it feels empowering knowing I can help someone who is asking for it.

    Cons

Almost every day there is a technical meltdown. Phones down, database down, and the knowledge base needs some improving. I feel like I need better tools to do my job better. There are inconsistencies with the job procedure/training, seems like everyone was told how to do their job differently and sometimes feels like a lack of cohesion. Many levels of management and sometimes seems to lack structure. Minimal coworker interaction, lack of "team" environment.

    Advice to Management

Create more of a team environment. More group meetings, team building etc would improve overall performance. Also, the phone system and other "tools" for the job can be improved.

    Pros

Flexible on unpaid time off, when I come to work, and when I leave.

    Cons

    Pay
Being treated like an intern (I expected more, being an Engineer)

    Advice to Management

Perhaps trim down your department. There are more managers than engineers. No matter where I work there is a manager whose job is to solely watch and write something on his clipboard. Is this necessary?

    Pros

Lots of overtime. Great place to just do your job and become a lost figure.

    Cons

Lots of required overtime. No room for advancement unless you are related to someone.

    Advice to Management

Increase education awareness...those making $30 per hour and no degree vs $15 per hour with bachelors degree...all based on union bs. Selling 10k units at 500 units per week manufactured, this company can justify taking care of all level employees and not just upper levels. Seniority employees believe they are untouchable but are really Sheeps in wolves disguises...forgive me on the pun. Management is trying to weed out the overpaid for cost savings. I can write an essay but chose to use that for a more prospective occasion.

    Pros

Management is committed to the people and the projects. Not afraid to spend money to get the necessary resources to make projects successful. People are generally in the right positions and have the skills and knowledge to make an impact.

    Cons

Management is fairly well entrenched, there is definitely a ceiling to advancement.
