I have been working at Subway part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Some of the good benefits for working here would be: customer-oriented, workers are not biased, flexible hours

    Cons

Some of the bad benefits would be: hours be cut constantly, favoritism, not straight hours unless you are management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

need to find workers who can work specific times and not all hours. need to find reliable workers and not ones who need to find ride or call off when they want

I worked at Subway part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Because I worked at a small town subway, we were pretty close knit and we knew almost all of our customers. After working other places, i realized that it was one of the easiest jobs I ever had.

    Cons

It however could be very frustrating, there was a lack of communication between management and employees. Management did not really take much of a leading role.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    take some control

    I worked at Subway

    Pros

Free sandwiches, drinks, and cookies during every scheduled shift. Easy workload if working as a team if scheduled that way.

    Cons

    Hungry people are angry people.
You will often be scheduled alone with a moderate to large amount of work to complete in a short window of time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be a minimum of two closers, for speed of closing, customer service, and saftey.

I worked at Subway full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Builds customer service skills and is a good first job. Healthy food option. Free food. Flexible hours.

    Cons

Each store is run differently by the individual franchise owner. Some are awesome. Some are rude.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't treat your employees like crap. They are the face of your store.

I have been working at Subway part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, usually 25-40 hours a week if you have open availability, easy work.

    Cons

Understaffing, lots of teenage coworkers who create an unnecessarily dramatic environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more hardworking people, not just some 16 year old who comes to slack off and leave the work to the rest of us.

I have been working at Subway

    Pros

If you just need a because no one else called you yet.

    Cons

The owner sucks!!! He knows nothing about his own business but and wants you to do everything on down to his payroll. He doesn't believe in raises ,there are employees that's been with him for 4 or 5 years still making what they started with.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You're going to lose a lot of good employees
