    Pros

    Coworkers are close friends Hour flexibility Summer Hours (off at 1:30 on Fridays Memorial Day to Labor Day) Telecommuting allowed occasionally

    Cons

    In my position there is no room for advancement. Compensation below the local average for title

    Pros

    • Great benefits - health, dental, optical, 401k, tuition reimbursement, fair management, vacation time • Dedicated management who offer team bonding luncheons and who initiative team camaraderie • Office culture is great - spirit days, cookouts, team get togethers, breakfast club, etc. • Great location - the CVS corporate park is conducive to long runs or walks when the weather is nice and there are even pull-up/workout stations scattered along the way! • We make products to delight babies and to help moms and families during their little one's first few years... it's a feel good industry!

    Cons

    • The traffic getting out of the park in the evenings can be miserable, ESPECIALLY in the winter when snow falls • In preparation for big meetings last minute requests are made which leads to exceptionally long hours and an unhealthy work-life balance • Doesn't have a training program in place for most positions

    Advice to Management

    • Would be great if attendance to outside events to supplement the everyday grind, would be offered to all departments • Employees would be more content if more guidance/mentoring was offered from seniority to younger employees • Continue with team building, town hall meetings, and keeping employees excited about designing more best in class products • Stay dedicated to client & vendor relationships, deliver quality and best in class products to customers, deliver impeccable customer service and policies, and maintain the good business practices, integrity, value, work ethic, and dedication to the mission set in place by CEO Jason Macari

    Pros

    Great group of people to work with in a very fast paced and innovative and hadns off enviornment where everyone has a chnace to make a difference

    Cons

    workload can sometimes be challenging for those who are not ready to handle many different things at one time

    Advice to Management

    bring in some junior level people and start trainign them as early as possible so they are ready for next steps

    Pros

    New management is going in the right direction for sure. The company values are there and they truly care about personal growth.

    Cons

    Organization was lacking when I was there, along with communication. But from what I hear now, it's getting better with new management. The parking lot is a nightmare in the winter.

    Communicate more clearly about what's going on in the organization.

    I worked at Summer Infant full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The best part of working at Summer Infant, is the people around you. I made close friends while working there. They have a gym and showers onsite, which is a plus. Exposure to many different fields, and learned a ton!

    Cons

    Terrible pay. No room to move up or be promoted. They hire from the outside rather than promoting from within.

    Pros

    competitive salaries, and work/life balance.

    Cons

    lack of direction and inconsistent direction. Interdepartmental communications are poor (at best). Disjointed teams working in silos. Low morale.

    There are no pros to working for this company.

    Cons

    Hiring is based potential workload. When the company achieves its short term goals (the only kind they have), they eliminate positions. This organization is also top heavy from a salary perspective, while salaries for their workforce are extremely low.

    Advice to Management

    Replace the CEO. He lacks the vision as well as the expertise to take this company forward.
