I have been working at Sun Hydraulics

    Pros

The sky is the limit at Sun. They recognize employees not only for the work they do, but also for the impact they have on their coworkers. Leaders are very trusting in their employees, so employees can tackle projects in which they are interested. Employees are friends in and out of work.

    Cons

Some areas at Sun run somewhat lean, so employees are very busy. Not necessarily a con if you like to keep busy.

I have been working at Sun Hydraulics as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    Laid back work environment.
    People are great and helpful.
    Location is nice.

    Cons

Know EXACTLY what you will be doing. Lots of the interns did not know what they would be doing and once they found out at the start of the internship, they did not enjoy it. Did not learn much on the technical side related to mechanical engineering.
Very low pay. No real benefits.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give the interns real projects to work on along side other engineers.

    Doesn't Recommend
