I have been working at Sun Life full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Stock purchase, Annual bonus based on performance, SOME flexibility to work from home.

They also never hire referrals, well rarely anyway.

    Cons

Once you are in a position you have little opportunities for movement. High volume of caseload with no ability to claim overtime.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be supportive of your telecomuters, allow them the same opportunities as you in office workers. Work life balance is something you claim is important but the actions do not support that.

I have been working at Sun Life full-time

    Pros

I like the people I work with and the people are engaging and smart. Additionally I can also say that....
    compensation is competitive
    training is available
    culture is very receptive

    Cons

    physical workplace is old
The problem is that there are many departments without a cleat career path so it can be very easy to reach the top and be left with few places to advance. Otherwise you need to change departments entirely.
