Pros – If you are a competent nurse you can name your price and company will throw salary and incentives at you
Cons – If you are non nursing you are second class. Promises will be made to get you on board and to make you produce. However there is little support from upper management . Goals are a moving target, and upper management has a short memory and no follow through.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – The direct staff are wonderful people with compassion for their staff and residents
Cons – Corporate should let the direct staff have more control as they are there for the day to day interaction with staff and residents
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Nice co-workers that try their best to do the job.
Cons – Had to walk all over the facility to find supplies- which most of the time were out of stock. Director likes to terminate staff for no cause, just like she did at another facility prior to her alleged termination there. Management expects perfection, yet the patients require too much care for the amount of nursing time allotted there. Other nurses frequently did not finish treatments - which then fell on me to do.
Advice to Senior Management – Get a new DON and clear out all top management .
Pros – Long Term Care facility administration. Company has had excellent training, organization structure, Division and Regional support and oversite.
Cons – "Prescriptive Austerity" for those facilities not on track for bottom line. New company leadership making decisions about how to treat each facility without due diligence, recognition of progress. SunBridge has been acquired by Genesis Health Care, projected action - 4th quarter 2012.
Advice to Senior Management – Research performance trends prior to making decisions about the state of individual facility operations.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – Ok place to work in
Cons – No work culture, unable to maintain workforce by management
Pros – there are none they are not a good company at all
Cons – they discrimanate and i wont tolarate it
Advice to Senior Management – the company really need good people and stop wasting good peoples time
Pros – Many buildings requiring help. many opportunities. Multiple illness. Medication management and treatment management. Lots of open shifts. Lots of hours. Benefits decent.
Cons – to many bosses not enough Indians. Work load heavy. assignments over powered. Unrealistic ability to complete tasks in time frame with no assistant available. Management spends more time in meeting then with patients and caregivers under their care
Advice to Senior Management – Find more ways to help staff rather than requiring more duties.
Pros – A great team of people to work with
Cons – Theyvdo not reinvest into the center. It is run down and staff calls it the ghetto. They do not replace broken equiptment, they have no money for things that are needed to do your job, they cut labor to the bare bones, they continue to blame the government for the cuts, yet there is money for travel, hotels, etc for there many layers of corporate staff.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to the hands on workers. There opinion counts. They Have more in sight than the corporate people who make the decisions and haven't been in the center for years.
Pros – People a nice to work with.
Cons – Administration doesn't care about its employees.
Advice to Senior Management – We know it's our job but appreciation and talking to employees in a respectable manner goes a long way.
Pros – Relationships built with the residents
Cons – Too much corporate involvement in what's best for the residents
