    I worked at SunDance Rehabilitation

    Pros

    Easy to understanding the PTO accumulation and holiday policy as well as benefit package; Great working environment for the therapy professionals with team work at contract sites; A lot of live workshops as well online courses/ in services; Reimbursement for CE/state license/ profession organization membership. Great for professional development.

    Cons

    NO electronic medical recorder system except billing, although no worry about technical difficulties of system/internet.

    Advice to Management

    Has been merged since end of 2013.

    Pros

    Sundance Rehab is very patient focused. The upper management actually care about patient treatment compared to other companies that are focused on revenue. They acknowledge good functional treatment, and provide "functional kits" to use in clinics to encourage therapists to think outside the box. This company also values their employees, and make you feel like you are part of the team. They allow you to take time off, as long as patient care is covered. I didn't realize how awesome of a company Sundance is, until I worked at other contract therapy companies.

    Cons

    The company was bought out by another company and I don't think this company exists anymore. This company did have a high turnover rate with upper management.

    Pros

    Great orientation, good salary, can't really remember anything else

    Cons

    Once I gave my notice to leave, I was shipped out to the middle of nowhere, Texas and told to treat 102 year-old man for dysarthria - "to justify your salary." NOT a good experience - no wonder I left!

    Pros

    Management were all clinicians
    More realistic case mix expectations than some other companies, rather than pushed to meet unethical or unrealistic categories

    Company was sold
    Still have to work around other building management, who are NOT all clinicians

    Pros

    Great pay and financial incentives

    Cons

    It's hard to list pros/cons of the company when you can't get past a domineering, overly critical and sarcastic therapy program manager. There appears to be no one for therapy program manager to be held accountable for their actions. There exists poor team morale, feelings of being unappreciated and undervalued. No wonder they have been acquired by another company.

    Advice to Management

    Allow more outlets for open communication for clinical therapists to discuss the role of the manager in the team dynamic.

    free continuing ed credits
    nice team to work with
    3 weeks vacation first year
    realistic daily productivity goals

    Cons

    Found out after i was hired, all my other co workers got a sign on bonus except me because i didn't ask for one
    and i could have negotiated a higher rate of pay

    Advice to Management

    Be consistent with pay/bonuses, because even though employees aren't supposed to discuss private matters like this, they do and it can make them upset. But overall, good job!

    Pros

    Good Pay; good clinical atmosphere. All therapy staff work together as a team. The company stresses team interaction. Flexible work schedules and they understand that we all have a life

    Cons

    OTs do no cognitive therapy. Benefits are only so-so. PTO is minimal. Documentation is not specific so picking up someone else's patient is difficult.

    Advice to Management

    Encourage employee growth.
