    Pros

    Competitive salary
    Growing company
Great family benefits (mat/pat leave, child bonus, etc.)

    Cons

    Cut throat management
Growing way too fast for itself
Lack of accountability from management which will finger point directly to lower leveled workers
Lack of clear vision and direction because it constantly changes on the fly
    Healthcare benefits are terrible

    Advice to Management

It may look amazing from 100,000 ft above (as evident in many of these reviews), but try talking to some of the employees from 100 ft. above ground.

    Pros

The company has grown a lot and continue to evolve

    Cons

hierarchical, business strategy in consistent flux with senior business exec leaving on a annual basis, culture-wise still a very weak place to work as evidenced by high employee turnover

    Pros

Always challenging. Still growing. Young and flexible. Global but small enough to know your partners in all the regions.

    Cons

Our business is changing so fast that sometimes you have the feeling of not being able to enjoy of what has been achieved.

    Advice to Management

The organization, being so global, is still trying to find the balance between local and global goals. Think globally, act locally is alwas a goal more than a reality. Don´t forget local implications when managing!

    Pros

High level of independence if you have the right boss. Fair pay. Quite interesting work.

    Cons

The usual corporate politics at the mid-level and up. Not much advancement opportunity in engineering, possibly just due to turnover. About 50% leave a few years after joining. I think that may be all of the solar industry though.

    Advice to Management

Pay engineers double pay on even years?

    Pros

The products we make will help the environment and reduce carbon emissions

    Cons

Location- St Louis is not the most fun city, nor very well connected to the rest of the world; work-space is dreary and old style; no fun activity on-site to relax

  9. It has been a good learning experience so far

    Pros

Fast growing, dynamic company with a unique business model suited for renewable energy business. It has a good geographic spread, thereby providing global learning opportunities.

    Cons

Organization requires unique set of individuals who can mesh with a fast growing, entrepreneurial mindset and this can be overwhelming for some people.

    Pros

SunEdison has a very empowering/ respect based culture and rewards performance. The current growth along with emphsasis on individual performance allows those with ability to advance rapidly. Executive management has a very aggressive and visionary view in an industry that is at the very beginning of explosive demand globally. Although work is demanding, management allows flex-time and other work/ life balance policies. Benefits are now exceptional and in many cases Best-in-Class.

    Cons

The rapid growth (organic and through acquisitions) along with diverse ERP systems makes the collection and use of data challenging. Employees must be able and willing to deal with these challenges until the current ERP transformation being implemented is complete.

    Advice to Management

Continue to aggressively implement new processes and ERP systems to improve business visibility. Maintain aggressive business strategy.

    Pros

Incredible strategic thinking from the CEO to the executives. Agile company that looks capitalize on the need for renewable energy globally. Compared to the market cap, there is unlimited room for growth and the trend of MWs install shows this. Compensation and benefits are great and the company continues to improve this further to make SunEdison the best place to work.

    Cons

SunEdison is going through tremendous growth with multiple IPO's and acquistions over the last year. This will continue so getting everyone on the same page with process and systems has been a challenge.

    Advice to Management

Continue to think big, but let's not forget execution.
