    Pros

Worked with some great people, benefits are OK.

    Cons

Constant over time, unrealistic deadlines. Upper management is either too cheap to hire enough people to do the work or just don't care about the staff. Management only values people who are in the office for long hours, regardless of whether they are working or not.

    Advice to Management

Take a walk around the office and get to know the people who work for you. Ask them about their experience at SunGard and work life balance. There is more to life than working 24/7

    Pros

    - Good work life balance
    - Pay is slightly above industry average. Best is the bonus part. On an avg they give 100% bonus.
    - Promotions are decent as well. Usually you get promoted every 3-4 years as long as you put in at least the minimum work required from your end.
    - HR & admin is responsive and do work sometime to make employee's life better.
    - Senior mgmt will hear you out. Though I must add that there might be no visible action on your recommendation.
    - No. of days of leaves are pretty much OK
    - I have head that shift based employees are paid good amount of shift allowance in addition to cab facility.
    - Canteen food is decent enough. Nothing spectacular.

    Cons

    - Very high upper management changes.
    - Company is having too much debt due to large number of product purchases.
    - Business heads do not communicate much on matters pertaining to vision & goals. So you will not know which products they might sell off or decide to continue. A very risky proposition.
    - As this is a private company & not listed, you will not hear much news about it. So be prepared for shocking sell off news of some product every 6-12 months!!
    - Almost no onsite for most employees.
    - Some managers are workaholic (13 - 14 hrs) and they expect the employees to put in the same amount of work. Though client doesn't expect the same at all.

    Advice to Management

Be more open to employees with your plans & goals for the future.
Few workaholic managers need to understand that employees unlike you have families to attend to. They can't work on your whims and fancies.

    Pros

As a leader provider of financial market access solutions, I think it's a good place to start especially for those who want to have a internationnal career in financial market solutions ( front, middle and back office)

    Cons

after 3 years in production support team I left the company for 3 reasons :

    - There is no transparency in the internal position mobility flow,
    - No clear career management that fulfills my expectation,
    - Salary progress under expectation.
