    Pros

A really great place to work the people in the Wearhouse are awesome to work with and they help new potential employees

    Cons

Hard to get an enterview...and If you do it not likely they'll call you back

    Advice to Management

Don't pass up on good potential employees I recommended a friend or two who never got so much as a call let alone a face 2 face interview.

    Pros

I have worked in Information Technology for over five years. During that time the group has put in some leading/bleeding edge technologies including SAP HANA, a substantial Mobility Application and a home-grown sales force goals system. At the same time three states were on-boarded onto SAP. All of that change made IT a great place to work. I enjoy working on the newest technologies, with a committed team. People are nice, and work well together. Many, but not all, promotions are done from within.

    Cons

As a company that tends to be on the leading edge of technology, projects can be very difficult. Deadlines feel tight, there is a lot of pressure to drive outcomes.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in new technologies, they are part of what make coming to work fun. I like that the company has a lot of flexibility; and trusts my judgement.

    Pros

Good medical benefits at a reasonable price

    Cons

No mobility for IT employees unless you move to Maryland, few opportunities for job growth, mediocre below industry salary, vacation maxes at 4 weeks after 8 years, your value is the sum of the hours you work.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to career development and less to micromanaging time.

    Pros

This company is big on promoting from within ... sometimes to a fault

    Cons

In contrast, since they promote from within so much a lot of the thought patterns revolve around the phrase "Well, we've always done it that way..."

I have been working at Sunbelt Beverage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you are going to work for a wine and spirits supplier this is the best one to work for. The company encourages a friendly family like atmosphere and in PA (because liquor laws are different here) is not cut throat. It is family owned so they are able to keep things more casual and less corporate.Compensation is pretty good if you make incentives, work-life balance is awesome because you make your own schedule. If you are looking for sales this is a good place to work and get experience.

    Cons

base pay is not great and if you don't have a good territory its not really enough money. Training is mediocre, you get basic wine and spirits knowledge training but there aren't many opportunities for mentor ship or leadership. They don't really cultivate you in your career path, its much more about the day to day grind.

I worked at Sunbelt Beverage full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great Pay, Family Environment, Upward Mobility sometimes but Mostly Lateral Movement, Great Brands and Supplier Relationships, Strong Management Teams, Opportunities To Travel

    Cons

Workhouse Mentality, No Effort To Achieve Organizational Work/Life Balance, Less than Inspiring Office Environments, Low Employee Morale; Lack of Diversity in Senior Management

    Advice to Management

Crowdsource your employees for ideas to improve employee morale and teambuilding; Encourage work life balance as way of life to ensure employees don't get burned out; Improve social media capabilities

    Pros

    Decent Salary, 401k is good.

    Cons

Very micromanaged, too many managers, not enough workers. Pathetic bonus potential. No growth opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Need to recruit and retain talented people. There is nothing to attract top young talent.
