    Pros

They pay vacation and offer a lot of trainings. They are using an oracle database up to date.

    Cons

When you work for a franchise, there is little chance for promotion.

I have been working at Sunoco full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

People. At the same level or below, fellow employees are wonderful to work with and professional.
Decent compensation and health benefits for the position

    Cons

Being a woman, the challenges double in every aspect. Passed up for promotion, paid less than my fellow male peers, treated like my opinion/knowledge doesn't matter. They also like to play favorites. I've seen store managers lose their job over a $5 payout while another manager commits a crime and still has a job. Most of management bases their decisions on "personal" perspectives and "favorites" than the actual credentials a person has for any open position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is no amount of advice that I could give that would improve how this company is handled.

I worked at Sunoco full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great pay and benefits. Huge opportunities for growth within the company. Started low on the totem pole and worked my way up. I worked for this company for 13 years and have no complaints. I left the position to move to a territory that does not have company operated stores. Otherwise, I would have stayed with the company. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a job with huge growth opportunities.

    Cons

There are no cons to working for this company.

I have been working at Sunoco full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

This company has a very good idea of what your need to succeed in industry. I recommend it to students and young professionals looking to get in to the energy business. Benefits are middle of the road to good. I am not disappointed with my experience.

    Cons

At times you may not be able to keep up with your work. This is something you need to learn to navigate. Request resources, but otherwise go to your boss and ask what they need done most. The people are reasonable.

    I worked at Sunoco full-time

    Pros

Centrally located in the Philadelphia Area, 9/80 work week (off every other friday), great benefits and salary, tuition reimbursement

    Cons

Majority of the company was sold off so it does not have nearly the size and scale that it had in the past.

I worked at Sunoco full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

People very knowledgable and helpful. Pay was as good as any company around and excellent benefits.

    Cons

Couldnt always get a day off when needed. Upper management doesn't care at all about the regular working person. Staffing is way to short.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try listening and caring for your employees. There is more to making a great place to work than just making money. We are all human so treat us that way.

I worked at Sunoco full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Great way to start learning about jobs and being responsible. Being on time, doing your part and trusting your co-workers is exactly what I learned here

    Cons

Promotions are not often and mostly who is the favorite among the workers. Sometimes favoritism can really put a damper on your continued positivity and overall dedication to the work place.
