    Pros

Location is great, relaxed atmosphere, travel opportuniteis to Japan, nice cafateria on site, friendly co-workers and you do have the ability to work from home (pending on your position).

    Cons

Since this isn't a Big Pharma company, the overall product volume is lower, thus making a lot of routine work. Continuously globalizing thus making the day to day operations, at times, stressfull.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on the employee needs

  2. Disappointing end to all the hard work I put in for 4 years. Mgmt showed no appreciation or concern upon my departure.

    Pros

They had great products and some marketers were passionate about their work

    Cons

Typical pharm enviornment, uptight. It was not to me, but it could be to some people's taste. The team I was in had the tendency to complain and gossip.

    Advice to Management

    Keep focusing on your products

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Letting experienced people go for the sake of the bottom line is not always in the best interest of the company long term

    Pros

Used to be a great company until it was taken over by the Japanese management.

    Cons

Attrition issue within this company over the past 5 years... This has led to more work responsibilities and constant changes to business strategies at the C-level. No career growth.

    Advice to Management

Address attrition issues and employee motivation.

    Pros

    Good salary
    Decent benefits
Company car- monthly charge of &100/mo
    Adequate budget for in-services
Company closed Christmas through Jamuary 1.

    Cons

    Terrible environment in most divisions
    Yearly lay-offs (at least)
    Few chances for advancement
If you succeed one quarter, you will be penalized by a much higher quota than non-achievers
Constant threats and intimidation if numbers are low for even a short period of time.
    No accountability above rep level.

    Advice to Management

Pay people for what they sell, and don't penalize performers by outrageous quotas.
When it is obvious that outside factors are contributing to a territory's decline, admit and help resolve these issues.
Bully managers don't help reps, or the company, succeed.

    Pros

Have spent many years here and saw many changes. Mostly spend time glad I am able to keep a job during innumerable downsizes. Always feel like I am one call away from being next.

    Cons

Company talks a good story, but does not 'walk the walk' regarding fairness and work/life balance. The more you give, the more they want. Giant divide exists between corporate employees and sales people - neither knows what the other does and, apparently by default, both distrust each other greatly.

    Advice to Management

Time to build bridges (between sales teams, the 3 product teams, and internal/sales) and stop tearing them down.
