Pros
Helping people can be very rewarding when you see them very happy and satisfied. Can get very cool frames by the manufacture's price.
Cons
working with people can be very stressful, especially if a customer does not understand his/her insurance benefits and gets upset with an optician. commissions can be as low as 0.5%. mandatory weekends and late evenings work.
Advice to Senior Management
Generous commissions will help to stimulate bigger enthusiasm for an optician. Need to create and verbalize some specific goals for optician's career advancement and growth.
