I worked at Superior Technical Resources full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Thanks to Superior, I was able to get the experience I needed to get a full-time, permanent position at a major defense company. The pay rates were generous, and they set me up with some great companies. I had a great working relationship with my recruiter - she knew what assignments would be a good fit for me.

    Cons

Benefits were expensive, no holiday/vacation pay offered. The recruiter I worked closely with has since moved on to another company, and the people they hired a don't have same attention to detail and person-ability she had, which is a shame.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider offering holiday/vacation pay to your associates as an incentive to take on other assignments. Hire recruiters who care more about the candidate than the paycheck.

I worked at Superior Technical Resources full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I enjoyed one of their CSR activities in Buffalo.

    Cons

I had a very bad experience working for this company. I got hired as a Business Analyst. My job was to prepare analytics on Microsoft Excel. I did not get any proper training. In spite of that, I did my best to get upto speed. In addition, my coworkers were extremely demanding. After a few months, they just suddenly called me, and without giving any proper reason, they terminated my employment, inspite of the fact that I was getting better. They did it in such an unprofessional manner and it was the most humiliating experience of my life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Make proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
    2. Give proper training to the new employees and allow them to settle down and get into the groove.
    3. Give proper reasons for terminating an employee.

    Anyone Can Do It

I worked at Superior Technical Resources as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

They have placed people in some positions over a period of time. Beyond this little is known except that anyone can do what they do.

    Cons

Their competition can do or even easliy outdo them in all categories except when employers select only them for placement. That's having a good sales staff, not necessarily a good placement staff.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Find jobs for more people, even those who are not cookie cutter or fit within a form. Anyone can do that.
