    Pros

Good way to get in the door for large manufacturing companies that hire for large government projects.

    Cons

Very poor management. I was let go from my position and was not informed. I found out unfortunately when I report for work at 8:00 at the facility I was contracted with and the manager there informed me. Not once did I hear from Superior Technical regarding the situation, even after it happened!

  6. A staffing agency that looks at the candidate, not the numbers

    Pros

Thanks to Superior, I was able to get the experience I needed to get a full-time, permanent position at a major defense company. The pay rates were generous, and they set me up with some great companies. I had a great working relationship with my recruiter - she knew what assignments would be a good fit for me.

    Cons

Benefits were expensive, no holiday/vacation pay offered. The recruiter I worked closely with has since moved on to another company, and the people they hired a don't have same attention to detail and person-ability she had, which is a shame.

    Advice to Management

Consider offering holiday/vacation pay to your associates as an incentive to take on other assignments. Hire recruiters who care more about the candidate than the paycheck.

    Pros

I enjoyed one of their CSR activities in Buffalo.

    Cons

I had a very bad experience working for this company. I got hired as a Business Analyst. My job was to prepare analytics on Microsoft Excel. I did not get any proper training. In spite of that, I did my best to get upto speed. In addition, my coworkers were extremely demanding. After a few months, they just suddenly called me, and without giving any proper reason, they terminated my employment, inspite of the fact that I was getting better. They did it in such an unprofessional manner and it was the most humiliating experience of my life.

    Advice to Management

    1. Make proper Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
    2. Give proper training to the new employees and allow them to settle down and get into the groove.
    3. Give proper reasons for terminating an employee.
