I worked at Surado CRM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good people to work with. Good working environment, it was fun during the last months. Everybody wanted to stay at the company. Good communication among team members and business.

    Cons

Working on a legacy system does not serve as a good platform for future opportunities. Advancement opportunities were scarce. The company had many financial problems.

    Advice to Management

The success of a company stems from successful people, successful people in the tech sector, in customer service, in sales, in finances. Every part of the company must be represented by key people overseeing compliance to align with the plan to grow, in their respective fields.

    Pros

Some nice people to work with, they are eager to teach, company claims to be in "growing mode", lots of promises made by the managers.

    Cons

None of the promises are kept, young employees are not paid for several months. not the best place to work for young women. lack of professionalism, while 'trying to be' professional. company never grows, same pace every time. they hire 'international student employees' and make them work for free for at least 6 months.

    Advice to Management

Be honest to your employees. Keep everything professional, written and legitimate. keep your relations with your employees at a professional level.

    Pros

People are good here. Most of them immigrants from around the world.

    Cons

Company has no revenue, running on investor money, hire too many unnecessary people, too many managers, like to show off. CEO irresponsible, not paying employee past two months before closing down, gave bad checks.

    Advice to Management

    Go to hell

    Pros

The other employees were good people. They were fun to work with and there was a positive friendly atmosphere among everyone.

    Cons

The main problem was that the those in charge were not honest. After a couple of weeks it was obvious the company had some serious money issues yet the employees were just dragged along with promises of growth and success. A forclosure notice was posted one morning on the front door. Payroll was never met on time and what few checks we did get ended up bouncing. The worst part was the CEO knew they would bounce. In one staff meeting all the employees expressed concern over the continuing money issues and the CEO just brushed them aside and continued with his stories of the millions of dollars just around the corner. The company uses a huge 2 story building with only a quarter of it finished because they never had enough money to finish it all. And, for a software company the tools we were given were pathetic. Many employees had old laptops and desktops that were 6+ years old. Whatever positive things we were told when hired were either lies or great exaggerations.

    Advice to Management

Shut it down. When family and friends tell you its time to close shop its not because they want to ruin your dreams they simply know youre at the end. Unfortunately, the CEO is either misinformed or delusional. Employees and investors are losing tons of money and time over something that should have ended a long time ago.

    Pros

People employed here were good people... They were positive to work and made it a decent place to go to work

    Cons

Management- mainly the CEO ran the company into the ground. There was no one to check him... he made poor decisions on a day to day basis. He hired good people, promised them a lot, and delivered nothing. Paychecks bounced, promises broken, and a lot of unemployed people because CEO made poor business decisions and money decisions with no one to keep him in check. What a shame that someone with so much power was in that position.

    Advice to Management

My advice to CEO is stop... Stop taking money from investors who will get nothing in return, stop making promises to good people that you can't keep, and stop being a CEO... you are no way qualified for that position.

    Pros

The pros here are very limited. Some people are friendly, some people are only pretending to be friendly. Here are a couple pros, there's air conditioning and it's located in a safe area where your car won't get broken into.

    Cons

Somewhat unprofessional people to work with. The "management" and senior peers have entitlement issues, they believe they can talk to any way because they have worked there for a long time, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Like the other person said, you're constantly being told the company is moving forward, yet months and years go by and here's a shocker, company hasn't moved! Be wary of this place.

    Advice to Management

Just because you've worked somewhere for a while doesn't mean you're entitled to act anyway you want. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and issues shouldn't be swept under the rug.
