Harassed, bullied and no support from management!

I worked at Sutter Gould Medical Foundation as an intern for less than a year

ProsThe patients and the doctors.

ConsThe peers will stab you in the back to save themselves. The cleanliness is suspect. Handwashing was kept to a minimum because of time constraints.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees concerns. They are in the field not you. We see the daily errors and want changes not cover ups.

I have been working at Sutter Gould Medical Foundation

ProsGood salary. Friendly staff that really want to do a good job.

ConsSGMF lulls you into believing you are important and that you are valued as an employee, and then when the first sign of economic slowdown and they realize it is not easy to find employment elsewhere, you are treated like you are invisible. They care only for their income.

Advice to Senior ManagementBecome sincere, caring people. Do not bring people into the organization for the sole purpose of improving the bottom line. Focus on patient care in the true sense - not just words. Realize your employees are part of the community and deserve respect, even in hard economic times, especially when they are really good employees and really good human beings.
