    Pros

The company offers a great benefits package along with paid vacation and holidays. Some positions offer a company vehicle. Most employees work independently.

    Cons

The workload far exceeds the amount of hours you get paid for. The expectations are constantly being increased while the compensation stays the same. There is very little to no positive reinforcement and because of this, employee morale stays fairly low. Management is not very supportive, but rather critical and condescending. The the employees are only given $25 daily per deim while working out of town. There are very few promotion opportunities without relocation. Bonus structure is based on regional goals rather than individual goals.

    Advice to Management

    1. Listen to your employees. They are the ones out in the field representing your company and they are your biggest asset. They spend more time at retail level than anyone else in the company and their knowledge is more valuable than your unreliable computer models. 2. Appreciate your employees. People are less likely to leave a job when they feel appreciated, not to mention the quality of their work will be better when they know it's appreciated. 3. Spend some time at retail level to stay in touch with industry trends. Don't be the unapproachable manager behind the desk, be the one who will get their hands dirty and help your team succeed. True leaders lead by example.

    Pros

Was a great place to work 25 years ago

    Cons

They took away our bonuses, Christmas Party, Childrens Christmas Party and thanksgiving turkeys. They treat people like slaves. I was on call 24/7 365 days a year and received no additional compensation for this. They have lost the wonderful respect they had for their employees when I started working with them.

    Advice to Management

Your enployees are your most valuble resourse, quit chasing them away.

    Pros

Great job for people who like to work alone and are self motivated.

    Cons

Lower pay than other companies and the bonus structure is awful compared to other tobacco companies.

    Advice to Management

Have a better bonus program and put more into established brands to better compete with the competition.

    Pros

Very nice manager who gave senior members good chances to show leadership skills. Independent work as outside rep Great benefits

    Cons

Low comp No room to move unless you want to move all over US due to small sales force

    Advice to Management

Pay people equal to competitors and offer larger bonus. Seriously a yearly bonus of $4000 does not cut it.
