I worked at Sweet & Sassy part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good place to start as a new stylist to build clientele. Fun atmosphere to work in as a party coordinator part time while still in school.

    Cons

On-site management was slim to none, which was not always a bad thing considering the management at that time. All female employees.so a lot of drama!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Advice to owners...check on managers and talk to other employees.

I have been working at Sweet & Sassy

    Pros

    Out going atmosphere
    Bright colors
    Loud music
    Always meeting new people
    Opportunities to networt
    Laid back environment
Working weekends makes good tip money

    Cons

    Extreme lack of management
    Nonstop miscommunications
Most employees extremely unhappy majority of the time
    Conflicts do not get resolved
No motivation, guidance, or evaluations given

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk into our store more often and see what we are actually doing. There has been extreme concern lately with not pulling numbers to keep our doors open; if we had a management system things may start moving in the right direction.
