Current Employee – been working at Symmetry Financial Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – SFG has given me the unique opportunity to be able to have a career I thoroughly enjoy and to be able to support my family as the sole household income. As I am with the company longer I am rewarded both monetarily and with the satisfaction that I am building a profitable and sustainable business. The ownership of the company has integrity and works hard to make sure I have every available resource to help me thrive when other businesses are struggling to stay even.
Cons – The compensation and my partnership with SFG is based on results. My cash-flow and the future of my business relies on my ability to continue to add value to my agency and my clients. This is not a business for the casual person out looking for a 9-5. SFG was constructed for the few who understand the need to be extraordinary people to get extraordinary results.
Advice to Senior Management – Thank you for all you have done for my family and my agency.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Pros – Having come from the largest financial institution in the United States, where leadership was talked about often but rarely developed, I have been extremely impressed by not only the leaders of the company but how often they are speaking of and implementing growth all the way down to an individual level. I have gone from working 70-80 hours a week in the corporate world with a cap on my income to working half that for an unlimited earnings potential. My family and I are much happier because we actually see each other and my wife and I are going on two vacations this spring and summer that we didn't have to pay for! The people I work with and especially ones I don't work with directly are all encouraging and supportive whereas where I was previously people were doing whatever they could to make you look bad so they could look better.
Cons – You will have to change who you are, BUT if you are willing to do so, IT WILL BE FOR THE BETTER.
Advice to Senior Management – You guys are awesome! I appreciate all you do for us and your willingness to put your time and energy to help us become better. The system you have in place is allowing me to do what I was meant to do!

Pros – Working with SFG for the last year has been a awesome experience! I have enjoyed working with people who genuinely want to see you reach your potential. Following the system helps you attain your goal and guidance from company mentors. Also, the culture with SFG is pure and positive. I have not experienced a culture until now that celebrates with you about your success and lifts you up in moments of adversity. I can't leave out the great trips you can attain with your hard work and dedication. Overall a great company!
Cons – The only con. I have to find time to fit in three free trips this year to Costa Rica, Aruba & Hawaii.
Advice to Senior Management – Keep the innovative thought process coming for our industry. Thank you guys

Pros – They have a very simple, duplicatable business model. Anyone with a strong work ethic and a good business mind should have great success with Symmetry Financial Group. It has tremendous rewards for those who really apply themselves. They are firm believers that time and money are the true definition of wealth.
Coming from a business model in the insurance industry where most of the money was being made by the managers, it is refreshing to see that they truly care about the long term relationships and making sure the new agents have all the tools they need to be profitable from day one.
Cons – It's not easy. It takes hard work and being accountable to their system. You can't do it your own way
Advice to Senior Management – Keep that balance that is making SFG a company committed to sharing the wealth of opportunity.
Keep up all the SFG trips and outings. Looking forward to Alaska.

Pros – I have never before met a group of people who live their lives - personally and professionally - with such integrity. The company was built on a foundation of service to others, and that philosophy extends to the very highest levels of leadership within the organization.
Symmetry's leadership is top-notch, and they are committed to providing every agent with quality training and the opportunity to be successful. The company culture is one of edification, personal humility, and positivity. There is also tremendous emphasis on personal development - you must better yourself before you can better your business - through reading, workshops, and special events designed to allow for association with those who've been most successful in the industry.
SFG has given me the ability to balance my work life and my home life. I am able to earn as much working 20 hours a week as I did working 60+, and now I get to spend all that extra time with my family. Besides that, with all the reading I've done, my family (and my clients) get to be around a much better person. The association factor allows me to create a leadership "vacuum" in my own life: I get to spend time with people who are further along the journey than I am, and as I learn from them, I'm able to fill the gap between them and me with personal growth. We are constantly striving to build each other up, pull each other higher, and push each other forward.
We work really hard at a job we really love and believe in, and we have a lot of fun while we do it.
Cons – If you want to be successful at Symmetry Financial Group, you will have to change, and that can be really hard. Most people are not willing to do it. If you are set in your ways and determined to maintain the status quo, you won't make it with this company. If you are looking for a paycheck just for showing up to work, you will not find it here. If you are not open to doing things in a new way instead of the way you've always done them, then you can count on getting the same results you've always had. If you are content with that - if you do not see a need to better yourself and/or your character - then Symmetry is not the place for you.

Current Employee – been working at Symmetry Financial Group as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – I attended SFG conference in Atlanta in Aug. 2012 and it was the first time I really got to see the business from other people's perspective, rather then just my boyfriend who has been working so hard for this company and speaking so highly of them, and I now understand! The way the owners and agency mangers take care of their employees was like nothing I had ever seen before! I am now more understanding and supportive of all his long hours and traveling business trips, because I know this is an opportunity with unlimited potential and amazing leadership to help guide him in the right direction!
Cons – None that I can think of!
Advice to Senior Management – Thank you!

Pros – Strong leadership. A system that works. Open market. No ceiling on your income. Winning culture. Balance of time and money. Great trips. After about a year of selling I was able to get out of the field using the system. Before SFG, my family struggled financially. In fact, we were in some trouble. If it was not for SFG, I would not be in the industry. Being in an industry with purpose is important to me, and having a company that I truly believe in is amazing. SFG helps me grow as a business person, and as leader.
Cons – None. None. None. None. None.

Current Employee – been working at Symmetry Financial Group full-time for more than a year
Pros – All I can say is, I followed the training and let my mentor tell me exactly what to do, and it has been as promised. I went from being brand new in this industry, to part time, to full time, to agency manager doing 80k a month. Not great, but not done yet. The ones who don't work very hard and don't follow the training don't do as well. Not sure why that should be a surprise? I love that anyone (even me) can come into this system, plug in, and grow as fast as they want to grow. So far so good!
Cons – You actually have to work hard to make a lot of money. Go figure!
Advice to Senior Management – If they took my advice they'd be in trouble!
