    Pros

Have multiple contracts so you can gain different types of experience (and are acquiring new work all the time). Good benefits. Small company so they need everyone to wear multiple hats (this is good for gaining experience in new technologies). Good relationship with the government customers (maintained through constant updates) so work environment is pleasant and rewarding. Freely give people the ability to take on new roles and responsibilities. Willing to train folks for new required skills.

    Cons

Type and location of work is limited by the contracts being supported (like any small contracting company).

    Pros

Met some wonderful people, all of whom left because of the company.

    Cons

If pay was a balloon, theirs is filled with lead. Pay is way below market. Benefits are expensive for the employees and offer little. Upper management give no incentive to work hard or stay, and plenty of reasons to leave.

    Advice to Management

Upper Management do not listen to suggestions and get angry if you offer any. Do not waste time trying to offer them advice.

    Pros

This company is OK to work for if you do not have to deal with HQ. Young people can get experience they need on their resume and older people can work without pressure.

    Cons

The owners' priority is control and making money, yet they have no business acumen. To them, an employee is just a body to charge to a task, easily replaced. This is no place for an experienced, skillful PM, because it won't take you long to figure out that the owners have no desire to support you and provide you what you need to succeed--that would mean giving up some control. This company is doomed to failure based on their track record. Large turnover at HQ.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to take a course in Management 101.

    Pros

Slow paced ideal for people who don't like to work in a hyper environment.
Owners don't like to get in before 10 AM - good for people who like to start late

    Cons

The leadership keeps reminding you how they are doing your job - while neglecting their own.
Growth does not necessarily mean money , they have no investment in people
Own your employees - for their success & failures
Their main problem is the CEO who needs to figure how to communicate without being condescending or dis respectful. What seems to have been forgotten is that great leader are humble
Employees are not equal to your hired help - they might make mistakes but they should not have to hear a incompetent leader

    Advice to Management

Please get professional leadership - it would be good to see a qualified person leading the organization
Get neutral feedback done - stop treating people as if they are lower mortals- they are the reason you live the lifestyle you do.
Respect & trust your managers, not a lot of them like you.

    Pros

The CEO has a real talent for finding and developing new markets and customers to serve. The benefit is that there are always opportunities for growth and flexibility in tasks, assignments, and career opportunities. A solid senior leadership team CEO, CFO, and Operations are well balanced for sustainable growth long-term. I like the fact also that the company has executed, and is currently performing a number of technically innovative IT, software, and database engagements. It's exciting.

    Cons

No real cons for me. The company has good growth which is most exciting.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do what you have been doing. The results speak for themselves with year over year growth, new customers. I especially like the customer service orientation, and focus on employees' work life balance.

    Pros

Great location easy to commute to worked with some nice people.

    Cons

Low pay, your pushed into rolls without being givin the title or compensation, the management style & company polices are different than most companies, busy all day barely get a lunch working under pressure & extreme deadlines every single day with no rewards just cake once a month, & your opinion doesn't matter as an employee, management knows everything..u will not get ahead in this company..stagnant in growth the turn over rate is high soon as they hire someone quits ....TERRIBLE!

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees give everyone a chance ,learn how to speak to people with the same respect you want given back to you. & pay fairly or this company will always be searching for new people instead of valuing & investing in the great people u have!

    Pros

Management is always sincere, even when they don't mean it. Mostly harmless: Either a beltway bandit fizzing and sputtering in its own grease, or a mouse hopelessly studying to be a rat. Lots of low paid, long hour jobs.

    Cons

Management is normally insane, but with rare lucid moments when it is only stupid. Never met a CEO who knew so little so fluently.

    Advice to Management

    Seppuku.

    Pros

The work environment was friendly and was relatively clean. The orientation and training went smooth and was easy to get on balance with the work.

    Cons

The management never encouraged their employees, and the pay was horrible. They were slow to upgrade simple and cheap technology updates. There is a reason why the orientations go smoothly...

    Advice to Management

Get to know your employees better.

    Pros

A paycheck. HR is good, always available to speak/vent but they too have their hands tied.

    Cons

Company has no loyalty to the company. Recruiting doesn't know what they doing. I referred someone and the phone interview was a joke. Someone became ill & they already trying to replace them. The CEO throws things, tells employees they're a disgrace for attending a meeting. I hope an attorney reads this & starts an action class lawsuit against them.

    Advice to Management

Be loyal to your employees. Don't tell employees that they are a disgrace, you're the disgrace. Support your employees & don't replace them before they go on medical leave,. Respect & appreciate your employees. Stop trying to get more business and hire someone to go in there & fix things before adding more contracts. Become pro employee. If this continues you're going to get sued and I hope it comes soon because you deserve anything ya have coming to ya.

    Pros

The few personable people within the office made it only slightly enjoyable, although we had more fun outside of the office. It was good having people to vent to, and was able to see what you saw.

    Cons

First off, you cannot get away with ridiculously underpaying employees. Not in the DC Metro Area. You can get away with that with recent college grads who are in hope of beefing up the resume. But you cannot expect to low ball every employee, and then wonder why they wanted to leave. Secondly, the atmosphere was similar to living in the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Employees should NOT have to feel like their walking on eggshells, and that they need permission to breathe. Everyone should be treated as equals, not like Gru's minions... even though they were treated with more respect. Thirdly, listen to the employees. You have intelligent people in that office who know what they're doing and can only help you progress, instead of regressing. You shouldn't fire those who has opinions that are different than the CEO's. That's a stupid way of running a business. Honestly, I'm quite surprised this company is still a company... or hasn't been sued for breach of contract.

    Advice to Management

Treat the staff with respect, pay everyone the wage in which they are deserved, respect your partners, do not breach contracts, listen/respect the customer, and do everything you can to ensure you have a happy work environment... not a Hitler-esque one.
