    Pros

    Great environment
    Coworkers are excellent
    Free lunch on Fridays
    Very relaxed atmosphere
    Good benefits
    Great starting company for the college grad.

    Cons

    Lack of promotions
    Pay is sub par
    though is not necessary
    monotonous

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Service technicians only stay for the great atmosphere, which by the way is unmatched. If you want to retain service technicians pay adequately for the position.

    I have been working at Syneron full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Free lunch on Friday's. Decent benefits & 401K packages. Lot's of snacks provided.

    Cons

    Unethical, and no positive culture to speak of.

    Very little room for growth. Unfair monetary compensation for the tasks performed, at least in the Service Department. Frequently asked to perform jobs outside of job requirements, and expected to perform the work of 3-4 different people. Service department runs on a permanent skeleton crew.

    This is a sales-driven company that could care less about the people who actually keep the gears turning. Unfair pay scale - the people in charge make a lot, the smaller guys get shafted.

    If you like your personal life, and sanity, don't work here as a technician.

    Additionally, products are released prematurely, the quality is poor. There are insufficient resources to perform job properly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Allow for employee growth, proper compensation, and improve the culture - the lack of respect shown for the hard work & dedication of "lower-level" employees is downright insulting. The constant lack of honestly, and empty promises has fostered a very negative environment. If this continues, you will lose all the hard-working, dedicated people who have helped build this company

    Pros

    Free lunch Fridays, annual summer and end of year events.

    Cons

    Poor mgmt., employees treated like robots, operates with a skeleton crew. Expects no errors from overworked understaffed depts. Occassionally, times where you are not able to take an uninterrupted lunch or break.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop thinking you are above all rules & regulations. Treat your employees like humans not robots. Ocassionally, we need time off to handle family matters and no there is not someone else that can do it. Come out of your office and see what's going on. Say hi. Get to know your staff. You might be happy you did.

    Free catered lunch every Friday. It pays the bills.

    Cons

    No real room for career advancement. Tasks become repetitive. Regularly asked to do things beyond scope of job requirements.

    Pros

    Free lunch Fridays with a variety of favorites pick out by the social committee team
    Free snacks and coffee is brewed before start of shift.

    Cons

    Lack of raises & praises by management. Very low compensation to techs compare to other companies of the same field and they also get most of the work load.
    Lack of communication & the organization is very disorganized in terms of leadership, support to(customers or employees), training, and inventory control.
    Sales team can be outright rude to employees from other departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn what's going on a day to day basis what a tech has to deal with in terms of reparing, troubleshooting, customer supporting, and frustrating to find out they're not getting the compensation they deserve.
