Pros
Pros and cons are largely dependent on the project that you are working on but almost all agree that the campus is good (though overcrowded now). In my project particularly there were lot of onsite opportunities (if one is interested)
Cons
Don't ever join syntel if you want to grow technically. Lot of red-tape processes. You would hardly see HR. because most projects are US based, employees are expected to stay till late to attend calls/meetings (this is nothing specific to syntel, but problem in any service based IT company in India)
Advice to Senior Management
focus on technical growth of employees. Hire good resources than cheap resources. Make Managers, Leads and Architects based on their abilities and past performance and not just on the basis of seniority in the project/company.
Pros
work environment is excellent in syntel, here you can learn at the beginning of your career , it is cmmi level5 process oriented company
Cons
as we know , nothing is perfect . so still some laps are in management perspective, but still today it is improving
Advice to Senior Management
syntel is one of the best organization , for starting your carreer. as well as employee satisfaction if high in syntel

Advice to Senior Management

Pros
- Most of the junior folks are friendly people
- At least half of the teams share a lot of info and help each other
- After a few years here, you definitely get some advantages
Cons
- At least 75% of the mangamgent team are poor and incompetent
- Lot of politics and region based favoritism
- No scope of promotions for your efforts unless you brown nose or play policits
Advice to Senior Management
- Respect the work that people do
- Hire good, competent and impartial managers
- Clean up the politics and region-based favoritism shown by people in different centers
Pros
If you are lateral joinee and get PL role.
May get onsite opportunities.
Cons
Technically no growth.
Body shop kind of work
Lot of politics
Bad infrastructure
Advice to Senior Management

Pros

Cons
Is a typical body-shopping company.the bad management: In Syntel there is no work culture. They say they are process oriented. But the truth is it is purely Manager oritented
Advice to Senior Management
