    Pros

Co-workers are very helpful. Pay is fair.

    Cons

Management teams are not on the same page. Too much direction from too many people. Management seems to not trust employees to get the job done.

    Advice to Management

Stop threatening behavior and work with your subordinates to get the job done.

  2. Sypris has many opportunities, very results driven. Managed in a very controlling manner, micromanaged.

    Pros

Many opportunities for improvement are available.

    Cons

Job security is very low. Individual contribution is expected, but the individual's control to make decisions, changes, or assign resources to a project are very limited.

    Advice to Management

Work with employees in a non-threatening manner. Assign resources to projects in order of priority. Don't start too many projects without proper resources available to finish them. Empower people to make the decisions they are paid to make.

    Pros

Technology variations via plants and work cells, long-term products, technology growth via older equipment, and customer base established.

    Cons

With slow economy CAPEX has been limited for advncing technology. Up and down cycles of economy has layoffs and reductions in benefits, with minimal capital to spend.
