    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management needs to take better care when hiring and could also benefit from moving into a new space that is more conducive to collaboration.

I worked at Syracuse University full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Very good chemistry dept with excellent facilities, good environment. Opportunities to TA.

    Cons

Nothing in particular; I did not want to live in Syracuse with my family so I commuted from a smaller nearby town, which worked well. I have heard that others lost TA position after ~4 years, but this was not my experience.
