    Good if your management......bad if your a sales rep.

    ProsManager makes good money, so the only way to get promoted is if the current manager leaves the company or dies.

    ConsSales rep's could make more at McDonalds. If you make commission, they take your hourly pay out of your check. if you don't make commission, they will only give you 20 hr's a week.

    Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure your leaders are educated in leading.

    Clueless Leadership

    ProsGreat cell phone accessory discount. Discounts in the mall food court. You get to know many people working in the mall.

    ConsDisconnected and ineffective senior leadership. Sales quotas based on the location grand opening years ago. Poor understanding of territory demographics and traffic patterns. Required six day work week.

    This place is out of business.

    ProsGood money if your the manager, otherwise there is nothing there. Just look at the manager review and the rep review. The manager says it's great, the rep. says it sucks. Typical.

    ConsNo inventory. Management basically tells you to "lie, cheat, and steal" to make a sale.

    Advice to Senior ManagementLearn how to manage. I don't think there is a college degree from anyone in corp., never mind the local management.

    The direction of this company is only down.

    No physical inventory.
    Terrible HR dept.
    Don't pay full commission as promised.

    Advice to Senior ManagementCommunicate accordingly! Put in place the right people! Treat employees fairly and start acting like a smart responsible company that wants to grow or watch yourselves collapse!

    Great upper management and culture.

    ProsPay, benefits, upper management cares about employees and makes changes to improve the work place, no cap on commissions, easy to advance positions, sales contests with great prizes, great teamwork.

    ConsHours, early ceiling in position advancement, stress that goes with any sales job (can be a pro), inventory issues

    Inside sales only because it's indoors

    Sales Representative (Former Employee)
    Alpharetta, GA

    ProsT-Cellular pays its salespeople a base of $10 / hour (if you don't make commission). Other employees are friendly. Locations are generally convenient, as they are in malls.
    If you are a fantastic outside sales rep, go get this job!

    Cons- $10 / hour is an advance against your commission; if you make your quota, you have to give your hourly back.
    - Salespeople are told they will 'greet.' Greeting in this case involves getting anyone passing nearby to stop, come over to your kiosk, and change cell services or renew with Sprint on the spot.
    - If you didn't look like you would make your quota, your hours would be cut.

    Advice to Senior ManagementTell your hires that they will be doing outside sales, not inside. No one comes to the mall to visit your kiosk, they have to be stopped.
    If I can't make my quota, don't cut my hours. It makes sense financially, I know, but that's not an incentive to work harder.

    It was okay

    ProsThe pay was okay, benfits were redone so the insurance is actually a good part about this job, Management was good

    ConsHard to hit commission, all the prices werent cheaper than where you can get it about 500 feet away or less.

    Advice to Senior ManagementKeep positive and keep your employees positive and energized. Energy can transfer from person to person, even negative energy. Keep that in mind.
