Pros
Good employee phone plan and benefits.
Cons
Politics and the way peoIple abilities are judged.
Advice to Senior Management
Fix the communication between senior management and field leadership
Pros
Fun, Always Changing, pay can be good with a great team and reasonable goals.
Cons
Typical scenario where the sales managers and reps could probably handle the new roll outs and initiatives better than the Market Managers and Divisional Directors.
Favoritism gets played all the time.
Advice to Senior Management
Hold people accountable for metrics, not just because they are "trying to get better". If metrics are well below average for 6months to a year and people are asking for a change. Then fire these people, don't just keep letting them slack there way by with their 6 figure salaries.
Pros
almost everyone takes the time to share what they know and most managers seem to encourage you to stretch and learn more...
Cons
seems to under pay relative to the rest of the industry. also seems understaffed a bit compared to other companies.
Advice to Senior Management
Value your Talent more. Get the iPhone. Philipp Humm is great and seems to be taking the company in the right direction, I just wonder if DT'll stick it out and even if so, if it will be enough to turn it around (or will it be too little to late).
Pros
Nice people. A true mix of very talented rockstars to people you wonder how they got lucky or while they're still there.
Cons
Location is less than optimal, typical cube-land where collaboration isn't easy given schedules and space to brainstorm.
Advice to Senior Management
Better strategy and direction this past year. Looking forward to how 2012 will shape up given we're back on our own (sans AT&T).
Pros
Pay and benefits above average for entry level work. Comfortable work environment.
Cons
Schedule changes every 6 months. Typical call center stress. Did not like working until midnight, but schedule changes every 6 months. You do get to bid on new schedules based on prior 6 months performance.
Advice to Senior Management
Be proactive. Ask your direct supervisor what you can work on to get promoted. Get feedback from other supervisors.
Pros
The commission payout is very beneficial.
Cons
Basically required to work weekends.
Pros
T-Mobile is a fast paced work environment that is always changing, which I like. There's always an opportunity to learn something new if you are so inclined. I have learned a lot in my tenure here and have had a lot of opportunities to move and learn new and different things when I got bored with what I was doing. It has been a good place to grow professionally overall.
Cons
It's a fast paced work environment that's always changing, which can be good, but also not good. Directions change but timelines never do, and quality is still expected. There are also a lot of politics that can get in the way of getting stuff done. I don't think it's as easy these days to move around and try new things to grow and expand your knowledge base as it once was.
Advice to Senior Management
The past year has been much better from a strategy standpoint, despite the merger news. More communication about what lies ahead of us and what the plans are would be nice.
Pros
Consistent Earnings, Great Benefits, Great Management and a strong team environment. Continuous Sales and Product Training to aid in customer service and increase your sales.
Cons
Can be long hours, particularly around the holidays; Can be monotonous. Also, it is difficult to move to a management position because there were none available in the region I was located in - retail management/upper sales management positions, appear to be given to those who already work with the company.

Pros
I loved T-mobile because it gave me the ability to work with the public and do what i do best, sell.
They were very acceptable of my schedule changes and family emergencies
Cons
very low hours, very vague training, no support in inventory, small team given HUGE goals, over all just low everything....
Advice to Senior Management
Give more hours to the people who are selling your product. Give them better benefits for leading your brand. Give them more of everything... Inventory Support as well as any support...
Pros
Friendly work environment to work in.
Cons
Very large company, less visibility into other departments.
Advice to Senior Management
more communications.
