    I worked at T-Mobile full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    High performance receives decent pay.

    Cons

Scripted sales pitches, childish training and coaching, unstable company with an unsure future. Company treatment of employees and management style has gone down hill dramatically over the past few years. Company has not managed finances well and now we all pay the price.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat employees like adults; if you have tenured, quality managers, treat them as such. Micro-managing doesn't work with intelligent people. Poor financial management does not need to impact people management on the front lines.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

I have been with the company for over 8 years. I guess that would be the pro.

    Cons

No advancement opportunities for hourly wage employees. After 8 years in engineering, a boss who loves my work, great reviews, and being told by regional management that my work is, I quote "superb", I have been passed over for every advancement opportunity. Only salary people move up. If there is n opening, they interview all non salary candidates and then do a lateral transfer for a manager who wants a shorter commute to work. Very discouraging atmosphere. All our competitors pay better and offer better benefits in non salary engineering positions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Get in touch with what is going on. 2. Stop placing your individual bonus over the best interest of the company and our customers. 3. Give non salary engineering employees a chance to advance to salary and management positions. This is how you might be able to get some fresh perspective and stop trying to sink this company at every turn. 4. Greed does not trump ethics, or at least it shouldn't.. We don't trust you to do the right thing by us or the company. Take heed. You are going to lose your best talent.

    Pros

Company has a good income for driven person. Great discount on employee phone service and phones. Store offered flexible hours.

    Cons

If you do not hit your quota for 3 months you are released. This will happen even if the foot traffic in your store is non existant. Company does not value "promote from within"

    Pros

T Mobile has a great work environment, flexibility and has a passion for the employees. The company strives to improve employee satisfaction.

    Cons

Poor management and lack of check on some poor managers in the work force. Some managers work their way up purely on the basis of connections without much on their resume.

    Pros

-Benefits Medical, Dental, vision, and 401K Great and they also offer student assistance and rembursement
-Great company to work for and gain experience in sales with opportunity to move up to management

    Cons

-The training is not the best training, its more of hands on training which can be good but bad at the sometime since you'll make plenty of mistakes along the way.
-Upper management is not the best out there a lot of favoritism within the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote those who really show the qualities of a leader and coach, not those who spend the most time kissing up to upper management.
