Customer Service Representative (Former Employee)
Nashville, TN

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for more than a year

Prosgreat benefits, nice people and good perks.

ConsIf you like being screamed at this is the job for you. The training was extensive but you still got nothing but calls from irate customers and the managers listen to every call. Goals were ridiculous

General Care, Customer Service Rep

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee)
Nashville, TN

I worked at T-Mobile full-time for less than a year

ProsGreat pay
Monthly bonuses/incentives
cheap employee phone plans
flexible attendance policies
very knowledgable coaches/senior reps

ConsTraining doesnt adequately prepare you for the production floor.
constant change, w/o proper transition/training to explain the changes to the customer.
No one is on the same page, some people bend the rules & allow you too, some dont, makes it kind of hard to know whats right & whats not.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide more strict guide to follow for the trainers so that the transition from training to phased to production is more smooth & not so unexpected. the training curriculum is pointless, the trainers teach you what they think you should know, not what the curriculum says you should know.

Look closely before you leap toward this job!

Customer Service Representative (Current Employee)
Nashville, TN

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time for less than a year

ProsGood benefit and nice surroundings (beautiful workspace only)

ConsOnly important thing is the matrix system and people are not important within this company. The company say they have a value system but truly don't. The company doesn't incourage employees to be honest and truly helpful to the customers!

Advice to Senior ManagementBe open and honest to doing hiring, tell people about the matrix system and very, very limited opportunities to grow within the company.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
