I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Solid benefits
    - Growing company
    - Stress not terribly high

    Cons

    - Terrible back-end processes
    - Rarely on the same page as other departments
    - After you sell, the problems begin (and you have to take care of them)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management - keep the positive messages going and helping give us ammo to sell (industry firsts, winning "tech company of the year"). Also listen to the field and pay attention to system wide issues slowing everything down.

    Pros

Commission at a high volume store is great! phone service discount is awesome!

    Cons

a lot of constant changes, crazy micro-managing, scheduling is all over the place! Do not expect to have a set schedule every week. It won't happen. Every time you start doing well in a few metrics management says you are slacking drastically on others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

District Manager View Point - Weak brand that is lacking a true vision to move up from #4.

Current Employee - District Manager in New York, NY

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great compensation that includes generous PTO, 401K, discounted phone plans and health benefits.

    Cons

Lack of vision. Area's of focus change frequently and it appears as though senior leadership is struggling to make it all work. Very political and very much a boys club. Goals are never consistent and can be completely unattainable throughout the year. Message from leadership is often borderline unethical and because of that, this is a high theft environment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to employees. Diversify your leadership from the white, male dominant team you currently have. Pick areas to focus on and stick to them for longer than a month.
