    Pros

This company loves and takes care of its employees. The intern program was super rewarding, with lots of fun events to balance out the tons of interesting and rewarding work experience. Fast paced, interesting challenges, great teams -- I'm very glad I landed here this summer.

    Cons

Might be more autonomy than you're used to. Individual responsibility takes precedence here, over having everything micro-managed for you. I personally think that's a nice thing.

    Pros

best CEO ever! amazing benefits package with ample paid time off. I love the culture of the company, its all about the frontline production.

    Cons

some individual leaders do not follow the t-mobile culture or practices which creates a poor work environment. This also causes good people to leave the company.

    Pros

Worked as an intern as part of my MBA program. Had great people to work with and for, and the company Un-carrier culture encourages all employees to consider bold changes that could improve the business.

    Cons

Thinking about bold moves is encouraged - but actually getting traction with them is difficult. Those who have responsibility for portions of the business are often resistant to change. The company was spooked badly by the failed AT&T merger a few years back, and while it's definitely a very different company from that time, many of the people are still here. There's a definite tension between doing what's right/best for the customer, and doing what's right/best for the bottom line, that can be challenging to navigate.

    Advice to Management

Un-carrier is a great philosophy. Make sure it's more than just marketing. The rapid growth of the last few years has forced some things to fall to the wayside, and while that is now being addressed, remember that T-Mobile should be designing the future of wireless - not just fixing the internal problems to get to where it should be now.

I have been working at T-Mobile (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and compensation. Great perks like employee stock purchase program and restricted stock units. You can easily talk to all levels of senior leadership at any time.

    Cons

Very little opportunity for career advancement in the direct to business channel. Must be willing to relocate and there are rarely opportunities available.

    Advice to Management

Management and leadership must recognize that it takes more than just value and cost to win business. Account management and tools are very important as well as network coverage.
