    Pros

Interaction with different customers from different places and backgrounds. Having the opportunity to help customers with their cellular needs successfully so that they would feel comfortable about referring you to other potential customers. Making goals was a great feeling of accomplishment.

    Cons

The frustrations of not meeting sales goals during slow months or just months when I've only missed goals by one or two sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I believe that sale goals have to be adjusted monthly according to business because and hours worked because some months the store revenue isn't as high as previous months and that should be factored into sale goals at the end of the month so that adjustments can be made. I also believe that hours worked should play a big role in setting goals because I shouldn't be expected to make the same goals in a 20 hour week that I make in a 30 hour week and if I'm on vacation for 5 days out of month that should be considered.

    Pros

I worked for TM for 5 years at the Financial Call Center. Friendly team atmosphere. Good insurance. Small, but constant bonuses. Good vac and sick allowance.

    Cons

Expectations always changing. Language often do it this way or "we will find someone who will." 95 out of 100 customer will be angry. Very fast paced

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Quit trying to be friends with your agents. Do you for for goodness sakes.

    Pros

The Pay was decent compared to most customer service jobs. Benefits were good and included health, dental, vision, 401k ( with company match ), flexible spending accounts and tuition reimbursement.

    Cons

The shift bids really didn't have that many good options to choose from and it went by performance instead of seniority. The management could have been better, there wasn't always support available and not all training was properly done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get better shift options for the employees and make sure that the training is done properly to all employees to better service the customer needs.

    Pros

The company is a great company to work for as an employee. The pay, and benefits are really good. They offer a very informal yet scrappy and positive work culture. The leadership is very agile, informal yet productive and helpful.

    Cons

The only cons I see is the culture shock and adjustment coming in from the outside from a more formal and conservative typical cooperation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

For on-boarding should do a better job with business culture preparation

    Pros

As a manager, I was drawn to the culture of putting the front-line employees first in our priorities. Teamwork and accountability was emphasized in a positive way. The call centers had good food and entertainment available for employees to enjoy when on their breaks.

    Cons

A trend towards bottom line at the cost of some of the core values.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember and revisit what made T-Mobile great in the beginning.
