    I worked at T-Mobile part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

T-Mobile offers good/competitive pay and benefits even for part time employees. There is substantial opportunity for growth. The environment is flexible and people are willing to work with your scheduling needs.

    Cons

-Retail is a grind, it wears on you
-The systems are improving but every big launch sends the retail stores into pen and paper mode where it is almost impossible to capitalize on the number of people interested in the product,
-There is still a disconnect between the policies implemented by upper management and the retail environment, I'm not convinced upper management understands what happens in a retail location

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The connect with retail program gets at the right idea but Im not sure the right people are connecting with retail

I worked at T-Mobile as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Good benefits, reasonably fun place to work. Good internship program for MBA's. I'd recommend this experience for MBA students for sure. The office is located in Factoria at the crossroads of 405 and I-90 which make the commute pretty reasonable.

    Cons

#4 of 4 large wireless carriers in the US. Worry about long-term potential. Sometimes you feel like a number (like any large employer). The office is headquartered above a strip mall, so once you have dined at the 8 options there the choices seem a little tired and its tough to get away to eat elsewhere.

I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people make going to work worth it to work towards completing the job. Some great benefits such as a discounted phone bill, websites that offer discounts to things from travel to retail. PTO is abundant as you accumulate years of service.

    Cons

The culture has changed over time and the vision by the leadership is never clear. Always reactive to things, never forward thinking to ensure we get ahead of issues. Promotions can be hard to come by depending on the department you are in.

I have been working at T-Mobile as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Good work environment, less politics, contractors are treated really well compared to other companies.

    Cons

You can get called anytime, weekends and evenings to support some release or launch.

I have been working at T-Mobile as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Good pay for Internship, Work life balance is nice. Coworkers are usually helpful.

The internship was fun. Lots of activities, great HR and going out to actives made the summer fun.

    Cons

Work takes awhile to get done. A lot of people are slow to respond. Not a lot of people seem motivated to accomplish things on time.

No negations after offer. Associate Engineer pay is 67k, all other interns got the same offer.OK 401k, 3% match, then .05% for every 1% twice, so max match is 4%. Health insurance is OK.
    19 days PTO

Compared to market the offer is well below what I expected. Other interns from 3 years ago received the same package.
    Previous packages had more PTO.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give signing bonuses, Higher Pay, CEO gives good motivation, but as an employee the benefits seem to keep getting cut.
