I have been working at T-Mobile full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

This company offers an enormous amount of advancement opportunities making it a great company to grow with.

    Cons

Some roles are still hourly, sometimes making it difficult to have a work/life balance. With hourly positions, there is not a work from home option, meaning your vacation time is used if you need to stay home with a sick kid etc.

I have been working at T-Mobile

    Pros

It appears to be a good company in other groups. Great location and has a generally comfortable office environment. Free Coffee

    Cons

Poor communication. Managers run around and tell folks that cannot go on their scheduled vacations or announce that all PTO is now cancelled until XXX Project is complete or successful. I do not believe that is motivation to stay employed here. Upper management does follow processes or rules put into place. In fact upper management and mid level management appear to be very reluctant to enforce processes or process rules. A very confusing environment in that respect. If upper and mid level management do not care about the processes (or support) put in place then the rank and file tend to be complacent. It appears that the location is 70% contract labor. Poor parking, too many employees for the location. Police and fire deptartments give parking tickets regularly

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Follow your own rules ! Respect everyone, not just the folks you "like". Be respective of others ideas. Learn from others instead of taking the "my way or the highway" attitude.
