I worked at T-Systems International full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I was one of the last employees to be laid off at the end of 2013. I guess that means I had SOME value.

    Cons

No advancement opportunities as can be seen by the fact that everyone in my immediate group was laid off in a 1.5 year period.

They also wanted employees to better themselves through training, but were unwilling to help pay for said training.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Personal growth could be much better by helping employees advance their skill set leading to promotions within the company.

Leadership? I didn't really see much in that area.

    I worked at T-Systems International

    Pros

If you need a relaxed work environment and work less for a reasonable amount of money. Very safe job.Company is owned by a german communication giant and therefore pretty stable. In the area I worked in (consulting), there was lots of instability.

    Cons

No opportunities for growth.Very unstable and constantly changing leadership team.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More communication and information to employees, especially about changes in partnerships.Mergers and aquisitions should be better managed and communicated. Give people an opportunity to grow based on performance, not only on contacts and networking.

I have been working at T-Systems International full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Team work is a big thing here and the people are mostly extremly friendly. In project you work together with people all around the world. A percentage of the salary is hold back and multiplied by a facter determined by the revenue of the company. This is payed in full after the first quarter of the year. In addition when you work here for more than 5 years (breaks are allowed) you have an entitlement of a pansion.

    Cons

The company is very process driven and has problems in adapting to new technologies and procedures. This is reflected in technical procedures and tools used.

I worked at T-Systems International full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Compensation is good: comparable to the market

    Cons

Non-Germans are not valued. The only way to get things done is for a German to talk to a German in German in Germany.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to people in regions other than Germany...and take a decision. There is no need for an army of middle managers to chase the rest of the world to fill out powerpoint and excel templates...these folk are not adding value.
