Great Enviroment through customers, terrible handling of personnel

Fuel Desk Cashier (Current Employee) Wapakoneta, OH

ProsGreat interaction with customers, fulfilling needs makes you feel essential to the workforce.
Schedules are usually maintained the same week to week on first shift.

ConsResponsibilities are somewhat daunting at times.
Second shift employees have harder tasks to complete and not given the same oppurtunities as those who work 1st.

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat employees as if they are people with human issues that arise. Sometimes you have to be humane towards family crisis.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

A company bussiness at times more a number than a person.

    Technician (Current Employee)

ProsGood training, If you work hard you can make a good income but you have to stick with it. When you first start you have 60 to 90 days of training, after that you go on to full commission, this is when you start to make a good paycheck. They have full life, health, dental, eye care, and a supplemental health insurance. The site managers treat you well, it's more like a famliy at the site level. They also have training schools they send you to.

ConsBeyond the site level you start to get treated as a number very quickly your feild manager might answer a question but beyond that they just don't seem to care, a do what I say or else type of attitude. The other problem is if you try to get some information form the corperate office they get back to you at slow speed only.

    Not such a great place

    Cashier (Current Employee)

ProsTime off when needed. Better pay than most jobs these days. Flexible schedules. open 24 hours a day, so can work any shifts

ConsCustomers are rude and extremely disrespectful(truck drivers), you get in trouble when you are not at fault, lack of training, benefit package is deceiving, called things by customers that cant even be mentioned

Advice to Senior ManagementCome work an eight hour shift on day, dressed as we are, not in a suit. see what we have to put up with in a day. see how it feels doing your best, having one person in a bad mood and taking every bit of it out on you

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
