Cons – They let people go when not willing to do what they want. They treat people as disposable employees.

Pros – If you make the right connections, you can move around the company, which has a lot of opportunities. If you're a good leader, you can make your own career within TACA.
Cons – Management was weak, but company has gone through many changes including leadership. Politics had stifled the company.
Advice to Senior Management – In addition to focusing on the external customer service, focus on the employee service. This will allow you to get the most out of your people. Communication is a huge part of that. Everything affecting the employees should be communicated to the employees.
Also, bring in social software for the company, so people can take advantage of each other's knowledge, which is hidden within the company. IBM has some great business solutions.
