Advice to Senior Management
TMAP was an excellent concept but it's being executed horribly. It's going to take a very long time to recover from this misstep by Joe Monk.
Pros
Balancing work with home is great
Cons
No vision and no information shared
Advice to Senior Management
Have proper induction programme
Pros
Flexible hours and work on week end and week days off you have options to grow internally and they provide a platform to grow
Cons
Too many boss every one guiding u in a different directions no leadership skills they do notlisten to what employ has to say
Advice to Senior Management
I would love to advice them to start listening and stop preaching they need to try some else shoes some time
Pros
Great place to work, co-workers genuinely wants to help you succeed and are very friendly. Managers are extremely helpful and cares for you as a person. Great compensation, worked here for my second coop term and already making more then others on 3rd-5th coop terms.
Cons
Location can be a bit more assessable, cafeteria foods are expensive. Co-op program can be implemented a lot better. Needs more events for co-ops to network.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work
Pros
It is an upbeat environment, with a stronghold of great IT analysts. A great way to apply existing knowledge in a great team environment. Regular team meeting contribute to the general communication which is key to a bank the size of TD. There are social events/team-building exercises which attempt to unite the workers -- eg. BBQ's.
Cons
The compensation lacks compared to many other places one could work in Toronto for IT. Recognition is hard to come by, unless you have made something extraordinary. Often there is lack communication encountered between various departments resulting in needing to re-do the same job two or more times due to someone's wants changing, or someone badly communicating their original idea.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep on doing whatever you are doing, just make Human Resources raise the pay.
