    Pros

    Very good environment, informal, and very friendly people. Good chances to see many aspects of the accounting office.

    Cons

    Somtime the level of the request done by your superior are not very high. I could have lerned more by beeing challanged in the tasks

    I have been working at TDK-EPC

    Pros

    People are nice. Somewhat flexible hours. Pretty can do whatever you want.

    Cons

    Most managers especially upper management do not have management experience so they don't really know what they are doing. Most people have been there for over 20 years (including upper management) so they have no idea what it takes to be a manager and what it is like in the outside world. The more you show you are capable the more they will give you to do and blame you if it fails. If you show you are not capable, they will just let you be. Plenty of dead weight around. Under pay employees and even keep people as temp for over 2 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start with working for a different company instead of being there all your lives and see how the world is in the 21st century. Go to some management education because they have no clue.

    Pros

    No Positive thing can be said about the Plant, Good that taken over by TDK, German Management has been cheated by local Top Management..

    Cons

    *Highly Mis Managed Plant
    *Nepotism
    * People (including Top Management of plant) donot know about the product they produce
    *NO growth for Plant as well as people
    *Few people get promoted close to top Management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    to revive plant must restructure management staff above MC3, Plant cannot revive removing MC1, MC2 Management staff and giving voluntary retirement to workmen. People are frustrated and demotivated

    Pros

    some of the colleagues are great

    No comment ( Nothing)

    Cons

    In this company the Increment is very very little

    There is no continue promotion every year even your idea be work ( by solving issue)

    No free time

    They expect you to do the work of an engineer or an executive level in order to get promoted when your next level of promotion is still a technician or an non executive staff

    It's a casual chance to work there, just that job is fit with my experience.

    It's a labor-intensive corporation,employees bonus is not good.

    Pay more attentions to employees, and try to keep them,that will be also can save cost.

    Pros

    No stress, flexible timing, great colleagues

    Cons

    Starting pay for a fresh graduate is always higher than that of a person who is loyal and work in the company for many years relative to position

    Increment is very very little(2% - 3%)

    Mid management can remove your entitlements and bnefits without stating any reason(OMG why can they do that??)

    Promotion due are being blocked reason being u did not do anything that is out of your job-scope. They expect you to do the work of an engineer or an executive level in order to get promoted when your next level of promotion is still a technician or an non executive staff

    People who are very good and excel in their work is not promoted reason stated above.

    Work effort is often not being recognized

    You have to broadcast to everyone that you have solve something or else your superior will think that you are very free and did not do any work

    Mid management often being personal and have no respect for their staff

    Another way to get promoted will be to boot licking instead of work ability.

    Poor management skills. They would rather hire new people than to promote people who have the capability for that particular job position

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Please please educate your mid management. Some is really good but most are really horrible. Lack of management skills etc. Educate them by sending them to courses or something.

    Please understand that the reason people leave are often due to the mid management.

    The mid management are able to remove their staff benefits and entitlement and get personal with them is simply too absurd.

    use social network besides emailing system (Yammer or SocialText) it would rapidly accelerate communication inside of departments and the company

    Good flexibility in work style. Good for learning many things of various departments, etc

    Cons

    Not much recognition given in written for a an employee's extra efforts. Not much employee caring in terms of having certain facilities like canteen, social club, etc.
    Not handsome in payment scale.

    A better care for employee. Like having a social club membership. canteen facility, etc.
