    Pros

Once you have established yourself as an asset to any customer, TEKsystems will try to keep you employed with future assignments

    Cons

They didn't seem interested in finding a more suitable role to meet my qualifications while I was actively on assignment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice to have a career path for contractors rather than keep them at the same level and place within different companies.

    Pros

Non. Considering how they treat people they contract, I can't find any.

    Cons

They don't have your back. They will take the word over the client to keep their accounts. You are expendable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Well first, don't misrepresent the contract. Second, get rid of recruiters that have no idea what they are signing the person up with. And have the back of your consultants! After all, the consultants work for you, so by bad mouthing them, you are actually bad mouthing yourself!

Former Employee - Business Analyst Consultant in Addison, TX

    Pros

My recruiter, delivery lead, and coordinator were all GREAT! They were honest with me upfront about my short term contract and the small percentage of contractors who actually get converted to full-time employees. I was lucky and did get converted and am very pleased! I am grateful to TEKsystems and all they did for me!

    Cons

Receiving PTO as a contractor is rare and a wonderful benefit that TEKsystems offers, however the health insurance offered has room for improvement

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep communications open.

Former Employee - NOC Administrator in Minneapolis, MN

    Pros

They have a lot of clients and seem to always have open positions

    Cons

They lack support, both admin-wise and rep-wise, not good for their word, def losing trust in them. 7 weeks and paperwork resubmission to get direct deposit going. 6-month contract to hire, but released at 4 months because their client had a budget cut tells me they should have collected the 6-months worth of money up-front. Never any feedback during contract. Was worried about final paycheck and no one could tell me anything about it.

Start to regain core values, which you used to have

    Pros

Great pay, have someone who makes all travel arrangements for me after I give my input.

    Cons

When I was first being courted by TekSystems they were very attentive to my questions, called frequently to check on me, etc. Now that I have been with them several years, I rarely get calls or communication from them. They are not attentive that my projects are coming to an end and don't feel they go to bat looking for a new project. Have to constantly be on the recruiter to see if a position has come available yet. Health insurance is bad.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recruiters should be more in tune with their assigned contractors. They should know I have a project ending and be looking out for the next project I can move to.
