Pros
- Opportunity for growth, if you apply yourself and work hard
- Great core values

- Great benefits
- Work/life balance
- Friendly people
Cons
- Some of the technology used is outdated, which can affect how your job is done (ie: lagging computers, software, etc.), but they are making strides to change that
- Stress level (job duties/department related)
Advice to Senior Management
- Some managers can be some what incompetent, this is easily reflected when you look at team work ethic; while other managers are very helpful. Sort of luck of the draw.
- Processes could be improved with regards to information relayed from department heads/team managers down to team members.

The people who work here are good and knowledgeable & want to do a good job
There are opportunites to work in your home office
The technology is reasonably new
Work environment / office space is nice
Cons

Compensation is below average
Managers are weak
Decisionas take a long time
Bureaucracy
Not an industry leader but a follower
Advice to Senior Management
Go back to running Telus Mobility like it was before the TELUS / Telus Mobility merger. A seperate, nimble company, more like a start-up. Fast decision making, profitable etc. That was why I joined the Mobility side.
Pros
Great marketing and positive presence in the market and community.
Top of innovation.
Excellent work-life balance, can work from home three days a week.
Good benefits and employee share program.
Cons
Too much structure in place. Projects move slow because of the various gates built in. Politics is plentyful in the department I work in.
Advice to Senior Management
Too much structure in place. Projects move slow because of the various gates built in. Politics is plentyful in the department I work in.
Pros
It is a fast-pace environment that provides a good learning experience.
Cons
Lots of re-org throughout the organization. Off-shoring initiatives.
Pros
Benefits, free phone, balance days, stock options
Cons
unqualified people being promoted over qualified individuals
Advice to Senior Management
Support employees in growth
Pros
stability, industry, location, etc. etc.
Cons
lack of opportunity, compensation (base salary)
Advice to Senior Management
retain top talent, compensate accordingly.
Pros
Great benefits for all employees
Cons
largely political environment. promotions are based on relationships rather than merit
Pros
the compensation for the type of work compared to other employers is more than fair and a good benefit package
Cons
It is a very political environment and centres on who you know and how many contacts you can make, abilities comes secondary
Advice to Senior Management
recognize the employees for what they are doing for your company more than you are, they are the reason for your success, the clients only remain because of the service they recieve
Pros
Great new office space downtown, flexible work work styles (many employees work several days a week at home), fast-paced environment.
Cons
Compensation, often direction given by executives is unclear, bonus structure has been changed so that employees have been receiving less compensation every year for past 3 years.
Advice to Senior Management
People should be rewarded for their accomplishments. It often seems money is wasted when it could be invested in your employees.
Pros
- Received a discount on a phone, good part-time job for student, decent pay and a good environtment to work within
Cons
- There was a lack of opportunities to move up within the company from a sales associate level from the store level
Advice to Senior Management
- Create opportunities to move up within the company from the store level for sales associates in order to encourage development
