    Pros

Located next to several nice restaurants & shops

    Cons

Poor communication Hire/fire mentality Extremely low morale Disgruntled employees refuse to assist new hires and contractors, adding to low morale and high turnover

    Advice to Management

Take management courses, as it is clear that very few managers have ever taken any sort of management class, course or even read a free article about management online.

    Pros

Has a good culture, good benefits, excellent work life balance supported by a great group of people to be working with. Encourages challenging the norm.

    Cons

Internal discussions are tough, making decision making more complex and slow. Not surprising for any large organization.

    Advice to Management

Encourage more autonomy within a budgetary framework to make decisions, including employee hiring, where to spend $'s, etc.

    Pros

Working from home helps us balance work and life activities; one ends up being more productive in both worlds. Very tolerant environment to visible minorities and others.

    Cons

Pay has become substandard. Top performers in our team haven't had a raise in years, not even for increased cost of living / inflation. No wonder, when we have 1/3 of he company in the third world countries. Promotions are based on who you know, not what you know.

    Advice to Management

Check your management team; some of them were not cut for managers, nor have they sufficient skills and education for it.
