I have been working at TESI full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    - So Called "Job Security". You never get fired. And why? Nobody knows why, everyone is of the opinion that it is untold company policy & unofficial. It is a heaven for lazy non performers.

    - Some divisions are good in terms of work (Embedded/Printer)

    - Decent salary hikes. Again, depends on how you good you are with your immediate Manager

    - may be a good options for Freshers. But get ready to be thrown into different departments every now and then.

    Cons

    - Why the hell they renamed from TESI to TSIP? Apart from Embedded/Printer, it doesn't do any good work anywhere else in other domains. Better to rename back to TESI, so that at least it speaks of what the company does.

    - You are considered too good, only (i.e. if and only if) you don't oppose to your so called Customers (Japanese Counterparts). Tell them on the face, what they are thinking doesn't work, and be prepared to be grilled by the Japanese Management in Bangalore on why you did that.

    - HR/Admin. None of them can even survive in any other IT company, with the attitude they show (Except some junior executives & Finance people). Have heard on numerous occasions that they back stab each other.

    - Worst ever Admin/HR operations to be seen around in IT. Well, I just said IT, no, its not only IT, even any company for that matter.

    - I have never heard any Admin/HR talk about taking feedback. Even if you tell your manager, they tell, if you want your work to be get done, then better don't complain, else get ready to be targeted. Are the Admin?

    - Forget your ID Card? No Problems, it is always better to just head back home, rather than contacting Admin and giving explanations on why you forgot. (After some complaints, it has come down a bit).

    - You are a brilliant employee if you are in good terms with HR/Admin/Manager.

    - Get ready to be penalized for even coming 1 minute late. They talk about regularization, but again send mails sighting irregularities in regularization. Big Joke. Guys, wake up, focus on whether work gets completed or not. Why do you care if employee comes a minute late.

    - Only coming late is observed. Not leaving late. They never bother if employee is stressed out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When you operate in India, value your Indian counterparts. Make them Key decision makers.

    Pros

A lot of emphasis on the process which helps in delivering quality.
A chance to work with the best of Japanese customers on challenging projects.

    Weak overall leadership.
Too much time spent on communication with the Japanese customers.
Compensation and perks not on par with the competition.
    Few indian customer projects.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need a more agressive leadership to get the best of worldwide n nationwide projects and to retain the best of talent.
