Good Company, just doesn't pay enough.

    Cashier (Current Employee)
    Erie, PA

ProsUsually you get two 15 min breaks and a 45 min lunch.
Managers do try to work around your schedule.
    Easy work usually nothing extraneous.

    ConsPays minimum wage.
    Can get messy very easily.
It is a retail job so you will have bad customers sometimes.
    Not much opportunity for advancement.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot much. Management from my point of view is doing well.

    Very welcoming!

Customer Experience Coordinator (CEC) (Current Employee)
    Paramount, CA

ProsThey have an open door policy and the managers actually care to listen and take your concerns into consideration. They provide great feedback constructive and positive! They ask for the coordinators opinion a lot!

ConsHighly competitive with the hours! Raises are based on performance, however if you're late 8 times a year, you wont get a raise! Some of the sales floor associates act entitled and refuse authority.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive coordinators more movement and authority!

It is a very interesting place to work.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsI worked in the back in shipping and receiving. The good thing about it was that I was in the back room unloading the truck, and I was called to the front for customer service, when needed. However, I did not have to deal with irate customers.

ConsSome of the challenges were handling fragile products in a fast paste environment, and knowing where they go in the store.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe TJ Maxx I worked at in Fountain Valley, CA. needs better organization skills, on the behalf of management.

    good job not a career

    Shoe Salemen (Former Employee)
    Houston, TX

Proscan't stop making friends when your work there's always someone to help you, or if you feel like you don't understand. There some there to help you. The job is good for someone who is unsure of him self but not for someone who can work at a fast past

Consdon't want friend instead of co-workers, I've work around co-workers. but working people that just show out and just want a pay check. Isn't good. This shows that if you can do the work and don't which someone clown around. The job is for you
