    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management is subpar to begin with as they would not be able to get an equivalent position in a respectable industry.

    Pros

This Company haves great morals and a great mission statement it is one of the only companies ive worked for that are proffesional. It kept me feed and the payroll department havent ever played or messed with my pay. They are prompt and responsible.

    Cons

The customers at times complain about the interest rate, but I can deal with that. We are providing a service that many need.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep strong and remember the Customer is Number one, in our company.

    Pros

Takes al lot out of you mentally
the job entails a lot of collection calls and store management really ha no power as all the hiring is done by HR and DM RM teams this makes the Employees feel like they don't have to listen and that they will just bring it up to next level

    Cons

The Instaloans division is still growing so there is a lot of management changes I in nine months had 2 DM and RM And 2 VP changes

    Pros

The hours are ok and starting pay good

    Cons

Management above GM position is incompetent at best. They have unrealistic expectations for the products will offer. They are all abouts selling the money and destroying lives.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

stop trying to force the team's to discover needs and allow consumer to feel safe and secure about borrowing these high interest loans. I understand you guys get paid on New loans but greed is real.

I have been working at TMX Finance full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Quick decisions. More visibility across the organization. Anything you do gets reflected in the product very quickly. Standard 9-5:30 work hours. I worked for a big company before moving here where I was sitting in a corner and do my stuff without much recognition and most of the time my effort was stolen by many people. Less bureaucratic.

    Cons

Small team so you are responsible for more, than a big company. No other cons at this point

I have been working at TMX Finance

    Pros

???????????????????????????? I guess it would be the money. But that is misleading because of the way you are paid. The base pay is week, the money is in the bonuses that get taxed very high. if you just get a job with a salary rate of 50k, at the end of the day you will net more by years end.

    Cons

Everything. There answer to fixing problems is firing people. That's it. Corporate office takes not accountability for their decisions. When their ideas fail they point fingers at every body else. They loose more money than they make with failed adventures, and blame everybody for their failures except themselves. With this self preservation mentality, this company is headed into troubled times. They have forgot what made them successful in the first place. They have the wrong people up top making decisions. TMX needs to go public so it has board to answer to. Their current greed will be their demise. If you get a job with them keep your resume warm, and your senses sharp.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are in preservation mode, and are setting performance goals that are unrealistic. Goals have to be obtainable and not demoralizing. TMX finance has gone through some amazingly talented, highly educated people. There turn over rate is 65 - 70%. The average tenure of a GM is 1 year. They use and abuse and toss you out like you don't matter.
