    Pros

Starting with TMX Finance in 2011, I was just looking for a easy job with great benefits and the opportunity to give great customer service. Instead I've found my career. I set my 5 year goals and have been working my way up. The most important part of my job is my customers. The pay is great, but I've never forget about how important my customers need to feel like they're "#1". Our goal is to offer our customer the financial products at the lowest rates in the industry.

    Cons

My only con is the fact that sometimes you have to repo your customer vehicle. Yes, it is part of my job. But to me, the most important part of my job is to help our customers first.

    Very good pay and benefits..

    Cons

Management is very jealous of employees. They expect you to bow on one knee and cherish every wrong thing they do to you..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Really pay attention to who you put in charge of your sites other than a piece of paper saying that they are qualified.

    Pros

Pay was above average. I really liked helping desperate people in desperate situations. For example I helped a lady in her seventies by making the loan to pay the back taxes on her house and property, or she would have lost both. I really liked my General Manager. The District Manager was a good guy, but he was not honest with me when I asked "why" my job was posted again. You need to have a "Killer" instinct to work here, and I don't.

    Cons

Extremely high turnover, especially when New management comes in and feels the need to clean house. This is a young company (16 years) founded by Tracy Young, who seems to be a "Silent" owner and operator. Strict dress code which is seen as pretentious in rural areas. False advertising and marketing; commercials state all you need is a car title and I.D. to get your loan and that is not the case. The customer is frustrated by having to provide proof of income, proof of residence along with six references. Most customers will provide the extra information because they want the loan. I really did NOT enjoy selling custoemrs one dollar they would have to pay back three! Great environment if you are a Shark like individual with killer instincts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change your commercials so you aren't committing fraud. Streamline your procedures and policies so EVERYONE, all your managers are saying and doing the same things, it is NOT that way now. Lower your interest rates even more, so you are really helping customers, instead of assisting them in digging a deeper whole of debt, some will never get out of and they will no longer have a vehicle. Bad practices all over this company. Tracy Young is a figment of imagination, great leaders and company owners should be visible and speak to their employees through more than emails, which he doesn't even do that.
