I worked at TNB full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very friendly and caring staff to be worked with, safe and secure working environment. A peaceful place to work in. A great environment. Have transport that help staff to come and go back from their office.

    Cons

Accommodations problem for people who are new to the place. Appreciate if there are suggestions to stay nearby office area with low budget. No problem inside office at all. No problems with staff attitude or behaviors.

    Advice to Management

Management had done a good job in ensuring a safe and secure working environment. There is nothing to advise to the management. Instead there are somethings need to be learned from the management.

I have been working at TNB full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work life balance is alright, good medical benefits, flexi hours being practised, those who like to settle in their own comfort zone this is a good company to start with

    Cons

Salary is not competitive, Quite silo'd in the departments, lack of human capital development, HR is slow and rigid in implementing innovative approach to promote productivity and efficiencies of the personnel. For example, flexi hours being practised recently only came about after government agencies have practised them. Senior management always based their justifications much on past experience, expect the young employees to follow in their footsteps.

    Advice to Management

Company's vision is not really visible and shared by everyone, (ie transformation programme), focus on human capital development, otherwise young and bright talents will go elsewhere.
